Problem solved, seems it just needed more time to get out.

leave bitcoin-qt open and wait for the client to sync. does the transaction show up in the transaction list? if so, does it have any confirms? if you did not pay enough fees, the transaction may be dropped by other nodes.

Have had the client running since I started the transaction.

Heyo,

I had some btc left over in my bitcoin-qt wallet and wanted them on the blockchain wallet.
Nothing seems to have happened though. It's given me a transaction ID but it doesn't seem to exist. It's taken the btc out of my balance though.

I'm thoroughly confused as to what has gone wrong.

Neither blockexplorer or blockchain say that it exists.
