Don’t know how to convert uBTC to mBTC or mBTC to BTC and vice versa.
Then, this simple calculator might help.

http://satoshi.24ex.com/

mBTC = mili bitcoin = 1 thousandth of a bitcoin = 0.001BTC

uBTC = micro bitcoin = 1 millionth of a bitcoin = 0.000001BTC

1 Satoshi is the lowest possible unit of bitcoin,  is often used to mean 0.00000001 BTC

Cheers

what preev has to do with convertions? other than convertion to fiat?

what the op says, is converting calculations into bitcoin subdivisions so when you see uBTC you can easily convert into 0.00000000 format.

what's the point of this?

we all now what m/n/u mean....

Don't be so sure  Wink

maybe you are all comfortable with convertions but i still find myself a little difficult to convert especially the uBTC units or the thousands satoshis, so the above convertor should be a really usefull tool for some newbies (and myself, too). I always write down all the zeros in order to completely understand the amount (i know i am a little slow)

they teach you those those things at middle school, if i'm not mistaken ...

hahaha i am sure they do now, but when i was at school it was a little bit different. Km, m, cm, kg, gr, lt, ml, and stuff. I first heard about mBTC & uBTC a year ago. And i am a little slow. But i do my best and always trying to learn.

Clear table, but I'd like to say that satoshi isn't the lowest possible unit of bitcoin... because Bitcoin could be divided into smaller parts.
