Is the pool running fine for you?

I got an alert email that all miners are inactive
My pool page either gives 502 Bad Gateway nginx error or when load it shows 0 active miners.

Edit:
Looks like its a web page problem, miners running fine, real time hashrate is ok and today estimate is raising.

BTC.com Pool miners can now merge mine RootStock (RSK)
We are happy to announce that BTC.com Pool miners can now merge mine RootStock (RSK) next to Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Merged mining allows different crypto currencies with the same algorithm, such as SHA 256, to be mined together. This allows crypto currencies with lower hash rate to gain additional hashing power by bootstrapping on a crypto currency with higher hash rate.

For cryptocurrencies with Proof-of-Work (POW) consensus algorithm, it is crucial to have substantial hashing power in order to secure the network against attacks. BTC.com, the world’s largest bitcoin mining pool, is happy to offer its miners better profitability while offering massive hashing power to validate and secure RSK sidechain transactions.

RSK offers a smart contract protocol that runs on top of the Bitcoin infrastructure. BTC.com added RSK merge-mining on the MainNet after an intense test period:

“We are very happy to add value to our miners who are using our infrastructure. We wish RSK to bring unlimited potential to the Bitcoin community. This integration will allow our miners to increase their profits by receiving fees from all smart contracts running on RSK.” — Zhong Zhuang, Project Director
The integration allows miners to earn more with the same hardware and energy consumption. The BTC.com Pool already has experience with merged mining, as it also offers NameCoin (NMC).

BTC.com’s mission is to secure the Bitcoin network, and we are happy to support innovation, such as smart contracts on Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.

Learn more about the BTC.com Pool at pool.btc.com!

I mined on btc.com EU pool yesterday with 50xS9, at one point around 1:20 AM CET all miners stop sending shares. They where online but no shares submitted, switch to US pool everything ok. This happends from time to time what kind of issue is this? should i change some config on my side?

Anybody else having the same issue? I have a similar setup, and mine on btc.com US pool both from US and Europe. My S9 rigs based in the US are doing fine, but rigs based in EU have exactly the same issue, and always during night in Europe.

Hi, could you please clarify what is the current mining fee on btc.com?
I need that to convince my clients to start working with btc com.
Thanks.

I asked the same to BTC.com Support a few weeks ago. Here's their response:

Quote
The miner fee in our pool is 4%
The Full Pay-per-Share FPPS approach, created by BTC.com team, aims to benefit miners from the high transaction fee.
It will calculate a standard transaction fee within a certain period, add it into the block rewards (12.5 BTC every block for now) and then distribute the whole to miners according to PPS mode.
This method keeps advantages of PPS and pay more to miners by sharing the transaction fee. It will increase the miners' earnings by 10%-20%.
The catch with that is that the 10%-20% is a lie.

For more than a month the tx fees have been less than 2%

Tx fees have been below 10% since January.

Dear miners!

BTC.com has accomplished the One-button Switch function on US server (only US sub-account is available for this new function ). Miners can switch Bitcoin(BTC) or Bitcoin Cash(BCC) mining easily via it, just following these steps:

1. Login to BTC.com Pool and click the ‘Sub-account Manage’:

http://news-img-s.btc.com/images/201709/8c263b29bc269f317c889edd2053212f.2370x1348.png

2. Choose the sub-account you want to switch, click ‘Settings’, get the ‘One-button Switch’ at the end of the list:

if you just switch the current sub-account, click 'Settings' on top right, find the 'One-button Switch' option:

http://news-img-s.btc.com/images/201709/df4d9e4da3b6bccbc7f430094280ec72.1434x826.png

3. Choose the coin you want to mine, fill in the wallet address if its your first time to mine this coin:

http://news-img-s.btc.com/images/201709/d93edcd726b82bc209c4fc72d8b1c394.2396x1094.png

4. Click ‘Enter’:

The BCC calculator is also available now https://btc.com/tools/mini-mining-calculator, miners can use this tool to estimate which coin mining is more beneficial.

If you have any problems, please contact our costumer service.
Thank you for supporting BTC.com.
Best wishes!

Well, a week later, and my efforts to engage with BTC support staff have gone from fruitless to infuriating.  They just keep telling me that my current BTC balance isn't enough to be paid out.  I keep saying I know that, it's the previous balance which claims it was already paid out to a specific address at a specific time, and wasn't, that I'm emailing about.  They just go back to my current balance not being enough.

If anyone needs a reason to stay away, there you go.

no, for me it's ok. Payout to an exchange so it takes few more hours to appear but no problem for now.

Yeah, I have it payout to an exchange as well.  It's not that it's delayed.  It's that it's flat out not in the transaction they say it is.  Look for that address in that transaction, it's just not there!

I tried emailing [email protected], and all I got back is to check with my wallet provider.  I tried clearly explaining the issue again, and so far nothing.  Pretty sure I'm just shit out of luck.  Time to switch pools.

Has anyone else had BTC pool claim they've made a payment to you, but just not?  My earning dashboard is claiming about 0.001 BTC was paid to 17KJisKa8xsK5cTbYP99K6oLr87nkWvHbw in transaction 4115ebea8f56049af468543716d8d0f218b6a3181442591460e5a31b2fbfcd21, but there is zero sign of that actually being included in that transaction.  Been mining there for about a year and this is the first time anything like that has happened.

TRUE I DID..
Because they had several days of connectivity problems...but it now seems to be fixed and has been stable for the last week
They had problems with Auto-payout..also fixed
They had problems with many stales and rejects (Especially when first switching over to them or when they Auto switched between BCH/BTC for max profit)
Manually setting the starting MIN diff to 12K solved the rejects and stales issue.

They responded promptly when these issues were pointed out..(in their own forum)

And they provide a monthly report of mining activity including reports of payouts and withdrawal tx fee. And indeed there was ZERO pool fee..only a very modest tx fee.

And they have consistently payed slightly better PPS than any other pool.

Sorry ...It is Via that displays their fees beside the payout..;..BTC...does not (Via claims their fee is 2% but experience shows they consistently  payout less than BTC.com)
For BTC.com pool you must check your balance due just before the day end dump and then compare it to the actual payout to find what % fee was taken.
FYI bitcoin.com pool has ZERO fee and  Auto-withdrawal (No min threshold) with a low TX fee. Auto-profit switching between BCH/BTC

Wait didn’t you post in the bitcoin.com thread that the pool is untrustworthy?  Did I miss something?

philopolymaths said it is 4% ( but I hope we all speak about the same thing, the payout witdrawal on the 3 different threshold, as I've seen this 4% appear in an other part of the site : https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx  )

No reason for the moment to not beleive him ( in my case as I will receive my first ever btc.com payout tonight for 0.01btc threshold )
and I emailed btc about it. ( but due to the chinese new year, I will be dead before the answer )

4%

Thank you. So if it is 4% I understand why they hide it from their faq etc...

The same for all threshold?

So if my maths are good:

0.001btc payout x 10 = 0.00004btc fee x10 : 0.0004btc total fee

0.01btc payout x1 =                                     0.0004btc fee

etc...

Seriously?
The fee is just too simple to KNOW exactly.

So you have not made any effort to calculate the fee from your payouts?
You know they display the fee right beside the payout right?

I personnaly said that I am new to BTC.com and have  no payout yet ( test 2 machines since this week end at 0.01btc threshold) .

And can not see ( yet ? )  the fee displayed you are talking about.

So if you know the different % applied to the different thereshold maybe could you please tell us what they are ?
thank you.

I thought BTC.com was a huge pool, is there an official thread here  where I coud post or find info about it please?

thank you;

BTC.com is a huge pool. It’s one of the largest. This is the official thread for this pool. You would think with the size of this pool there would be more information in this thread. I too have never been able to find out what the pool fees are. It’s not anywhere on their website that I can find. All I can come up with is they don’t want you to know. Maybe if you email them they might tell you. If you do. Please post it here. I haven’t seen the OP here in a while so for those of us that are here and mine on this pool we need to help each other.

They get paid everyday at the same time your earnings are paid. If you look at your earning history. The amount in red is your FPPS extra earnings. That is included in your payment. If you click on the little i next to the amount in red. It tells you.

Hi guys, started mining BTC on the pool like a day ago. 22 hours to be exact. I have a single S9. So far, I've got 0.0012 BTC. That's really low, even at this difficulty. Any of you care to share your recent incomes / rewards 😄 maybe like last whole week? Thanks guys

I'm averaging 0.0012173925 BTC with the S9 13.5. Have been on the pool for 2 days so far.

Well a single S7 of mine pulled .00047 BTC yesterday and an S9 is almost 3 times the hashing power.  That would be .0014 BTC in 24 hours for an S9 if it was exactly 3 times the power. Your pretty much right on.

This week we are pleased to announce a further expansion of our mining pool network connectivity with two new nodes: EU node and Shenzhen node. The previous China node has been renamed to Beijing node.

The details are as follows:

-The EU node, located in Germany, is for our users mining in Europe.

-The Shenzhen node, located in the Shenzhen district, is for users mining in the southern and central provinces of China.

-Our Beijing node (which was previously known as the China node) is located in Beijing and is for users mining in Northern China.

Note: The sub-accounts between nodes are independent. If Chinese users want to mine in the Shenzhen node, they should create a new sub-account.
As our Beijing and Shenzhen nodes support BGP multi-line, the cross-carrier connections are optimized. If you have been mining with the China node (now known as Beijing node) and had not experienced any issues, then there is no need to switch to other servers.

Our American node is up and running and no changes have been made there.

Our FPPS settlement mode explained:

The Full Pay-per-Share (FPPS) approach, created by BTC.com team, aims to benefit miners from the high transaction fee. It will calculate a standard transaction fee within a certain period, add it into the block rewards (12.5 BTC every block for now) and then distribute the whole to miners according to PPS mode.
This method keeps advantages of PPS and pay more to miners by sharing the transaction fee.

In order to further reduce the threshold of the Bitcoin mining industry and to promote decentralization, BTC Pool is committed to creating new technical standards for the mining pool industry and will strive to work with other pools to improve on performance, safety and service.

New FPPS(Full PPS) Mode

FPPS settlement mode, which distributes both the coinbase reward and the transaction fee to miners based on PPS, while traditional PPS does not allocate the transaction fee.

This new settlement mode increases miners revenue by as much as 9% at certain transaction fee levels when compared to traditional PPS.

Open source code

BTC pool code is open source and anyone can access Github to view the back-end code. BTC pool has been through the simulated stress test, which can withstand 180,000 miners connected at the same time. Take the 4.73T Antminer S7 and 14T S9 for calculation, the equivalent of 180,000 S7 equals more than 50% of total network hash rate, and the equivalent of 180,000 S9 equals more than the current full-network hashrate. Now the simulator is available on GitHub.

Multi-node deployment

Given the global network interoperability problems and Chinese special circumstances, BTC pool server deployed in the world's major Bitcoin "producing areas". Miners can choose the nearest regional node to ensure the stability of network connectivity. User's sub-account is tied to a node, which reduces the complexity of BTC pool data and improve the efficiency and stability.

High-speed broadcast network

To reduce the orphaned block rate, BTC pool deployed nearly 20 FIBER node (high-speed broadcast network). With the help of FIBER, BTC pool can monitor other pools and reduce block delay. In order to reduce the overall industry orphaned block rate, the FIBRE Docker developed by BTC pool is available on GitHub.

Transparent agent

In addition to the simulator, the current release includes the transparent BTCAgent, a stratum agent for large-scale mining farm. BTCAgent optimizes the stratum protocol, greatly simplifies the data volume. It will greatly improve the communication efficiency between the farm and the pool, saving bandwidth, stabilizing connection and monitoring data. BTC.com team has been dedicated to mining industry for a long time, well aware that the large-scale network environment is poor, so put BTCAgent as a service standard. According to actual estimates, after deploying BTCAgent, running 10,000 miners only needs 1Mbps bandwidth which is only 10% of the consumption of direct traffic. The download only takes 1/2000 of direct traffic. Also, with the general mining agent, users can't monitor single miner data. But with BTCAgent, users can manage the grouping and moving for all miners.

Security

BTC pool considers that security is a top priority, so BTC pool separates the data reading and writing. BTC pool also implements Cloudfare, protecting users from Ddos and ensuring that benefits and hash power will not be lost.
