Encrypted Money, Baby!
Site: http://www.btcflap.com/

Ref: http://bitcoinwarrior.net/2015/04/btcflap-is-offering-highly-competitive-offer-for-bitcoin-sellers/

It appears they did a paid press release for exposure. Anyone making an offer to pay above market price is almost always going to be a scam. The desperate attempt to sound professional in the press release is another strong indicator of a scam.

I was about to use this site.
Why? Because you think that buying 10% over market price is a sustainable business model? Does anything that site promises to do make any sense to you?

If you actually answer this question "yes", then please go ahead and buy as much as you can.

I'm not trying to be a dick, here. I just wish people would use a bit of common sense.

I wish you guys are all wrong, but seems to be weird that I received money from personal paypal account of some Italian dude who has no connection to this company. Their chat support said that they prefer bank wire method. Still seems so spooky. Another issue is that Brock Pierce is mentioned in all articles about btcflap.com as their media contact. Sent bitcoinfoundation.org question if he have anything to do with them. Another thing, that I jumped so fast on their boat is that they are traded on NASDAQ. Holding fingers meanwhile.

So what happened? have you already transferred bitcoins to them (how much)? Did Paypal reverse the transaction?

This is a well known scam. The scammer acts as a middleman, "sold" something to the Italian dude for 250 and never shipped it. Gave your address as the paypal recipient. Guy never receives good, paypal reverses the transaction.

It looks very much to be a scam.. so trade with caution. The prices dont make sense. And paypal can be easily reversed.

Hi all guys!!
I reply to this thread to CONFIRM that btcflap.com is a SCAM site. Angry Huh Undecided Angry
At first I found an article dated May 18th 2015 on this italian site http://notiziefresche.info/btc-flap-compra-bitcoin-al-10-in-piu-del-valore-di-mercato-20150518.html. The article was in a news list dedicated to cryptocurrencies on my mobilephone app Coinbits, it reports exactly the same offer to buy bitcoins paying customers a 10% increase of the market value. The article also tells about BTCFlap Inc. CEO  "...BTCFlap Inc. was founded in July 2014 by former professional banking Goldwin Paul, who saw the opportunity and the future development of the financial market intersect with technology, gradually the cryptocurrency grow. 'A day will become mainstream in the financial system and we are not too far away from that point, it is only a matter of a few years,' said Paul Goldwin, the company CEO..." Opportunity to scam people....
I went on their website http://www.btcflap.com, I read all (not so much at all...)and look at the video tutorial. Then, last night, I decided to prove. 0,20 btc sent to their wallet https://blockchain.info/it/address/163P3J3zHXsgura8oQX8M2aM2cx3Rv51Te and wait 1-3 confirmation as asked. Nothing. It was late at night and I went sleeping. Some hours after, when I got up in early morning, money was on paypal account I gave them. Amazing! But one thing was very strange : the payment of 58,60 usd was not from BTCFLAP Inc. while object indicated was 0,2btc, but from an italian private person: Giampaolo Marconi, architectural designer, from Verona. Of corse, only a pair of hours later, he opened a Paypal dispute and the amount is actually suspended by them.
So I contacted BTCFlap support crew by the chat on their website, asking  to justify that payment. They said that it is not illegal using private Paypal accounts to pay and so they can avoid paypal fees, but Paypal is creating some issues to their customers and better use the bank transfer option next time, that the payment would be cleared faster becouse of their international bank agreements. Then they put me in waiting mode to contact paypal and, few minutes later, they reply that result was a random Paypal control and the issue is from my paypal account, normally solved in 48 hours and that for them the payment was finalized and cleared...all in the right way, by their side! Shocked
I tell them to send me back my 0,2 BTC till the payment would be cleared on my paypal account or I would publish and spread their scam all over cryptocurrencies forums on the Net and oh....! The operator suddenly closed the chat and one minute later the chat option disappeared from BTCflap.com homepage!!!
I registered all the chat content, of course, so I can show it all : http://gyazo.com/5f46ce993365414e9164f0c5f68b3f06... but most interesting, here: http://gyazo.com/e442f23c0dea06f2223c5be39d3c9959.
And here you can notice they announce  24/7 Live Chat support that is no more present on their website http://gyazo.com/675be19948bf9b06351b7d79831e8bb0.
Everything you can do to spread on the forums about these scammers is of course apreciated.
Thank you

BITCOIN Price: US$ 256.08 , yeah right.. with current avg. of ~230 on bigest exchanges.
and each time you refresh the page "latest (fake) transactions" get swarming in. there is no chance in hell that is legit

I like the way they state "Minimum is 0.2" but the slider starts at 0.05.   Cheesy

4159358966...   Paypal   0.13 , obviously 0.2 min is there just encourage higher stake .

cheers

The business ran under BTC Flap Inc. is focused on investments in Bitcoin and online transactions, aiming to rapidly expand to other cryptocurrency investments in the near future. The company’s approach is flexible and highly commercial while at its core, the main strategy is closing as many deals as possible, having all its clients benefit of an extremely competitive offer, as long as they are interested in maximizing their revenue when selling Bitcoin. BTC Flap Inc. excels at negotiations involving substantial amounts of Bitcoin and has so far purchased Bitcoin equivalent to $3.4 Mil within the last 6 months, while paying customers a 10% increase of the market value published on BitStamp.

Genius business model!  Roll Eyes

"To maximize profits for our investors, we at Acme Widgets only purchase parts needed to manufacture the widgets having a price points 10% higher than if purchased readily available elsewhere. To date, Acme Widgets has purchased $3.4M USD worth of parts equating to overspending $340,000.

Future goals consist of upping the ante to overspending 15-20%.

Thank you for subscribing to our free newsletter which we pay you to read."
