this is the last time I'm going to bump this thread.  call it an advisory, if you ever plan on doing business with btcjam (btcjam.com)

btcjam id: zvs   user#: 28002

ToS:

7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BTCJam or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on BTCJam website, even if BTCJam or a BTCJam authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Additionally, BTCJam is not liable for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of any user.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

(#7 ofc does not apply in this case)

8. Submissions to the Site
All remarks, discussions, ideas, concepts, know-how, techniques, graphics or other submissions communicated to BTCJam through this Site (collectively, "Submissions") will be deemed and remain the property of BTCJam, and BTCJam is entitled to use any Submission for any purpose, without restriction or compensation to the individual or group who has provided the Submission, unless any previous agreement is made between BTCJam and you or the group. BTCJam shall not be subject to any obligations of confidentiality regarding Submissions except as expressly agreed by BTCJam or as otherwise required by applicable law. Nothing herein contained shall be construed as limiting BTCJam's responsibilities and obligations under its Privacy Policy.

9. Site Terms of Use Modifications
BTCJam may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

I have once again submitted a message to "support" to remove my proof of identity and proof of residence photos due to the fact that they will never be approved as I won't be submitting the requested followup information (initially sent on July 27th, with follow-up).  Also included request to terminate my account, to remove any possible loopholes regarding the company's violation of their privacy policy (doubtful that it'd matter in this case, but not like I ever intend on using the site again).

Sending a certified letter to the business address noted on website (1 Bluxome St., San Francisco, CA 94107) detailing this same info if there isn't a response in a reasonable time frame. I'd do it immediately, but, well, don't see how it's possible to plead monetary loss and I'm damn near certain that'd be required, since this all boils down to a breach of contract... no reason to rush, maybe someone else will discover that these photos are available publicly on amazonaws.  Oh, wait..

IC3 is a bit of a joke, but I suppose I'll put some junk on there as well.  AFAIK, they don't do anything unless they've received enough complaints about a business.

So I've said three times I'm not going to take a selfie with my license, so how is retaining my non-selfie license and proof of address fulfilling the second and fourth portion of your privacy policy?
