I'm currently working on a java-based GUI for my tools. Right now we are still in version 1.x of my tools. When I have finished adding the tools that I'm going to add, and changing the files that I'm going to change, I will finish the GUI and release as 2.0

Bitcoin is antisemitic
Thanks, but I will be willing to mine LTC with my GPUs* when an easy-peasy tool like this** will come out:

* provided that is worthwhile
** which I am happily using from about one year

Does it give an option to designate how many gpus/cards are in the machine for cgminer, been having a lot of trouble getting the ltc running properly.

If you edit the cgminerLTC.bat file in my tools pack or edit whatever batch file you may currently be using and add "-d all" it should work. If you don't want to use all of the devices add this instead "-d 0 -d 1 -d 3" and replace the numbers with the numbers of the devices you wish to use.

What cards are you running and what does your command line currently look like (i.e. what flags are you using or paste your current batch file text, just make sure to change the user and password info if you do)?

I downloaded from: http://ufasoft.com/coin

And there have been no complaints of viruses on it's parent thread at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=58821.20

It is probably a false flag, happens all the time. But if you don't feel safe, don't download it, always the best option.

Yeah maybe for the best, seems like it may have been a bait and switch tactic?

I just had a chance to look at the ufasoft program and I think their gui looks great. What did you not like about it?

Yesterday my antivirus started picking out trojans in the ufasoft program, maybe I got a bad copy, where did you get your download at?

I would be keen to adopt this if it had a decent GUI.  Im sure it would do wonders for LTC also.

I will look around and see if they are working on a GUI and if not, I will have a look at the code and see if I can make something for it.

Is there any way of having a combined wallet which displays both balances?

It would appear that there is already development being done on this and there is a working client (Ufasoft Coin - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ufasoft-coin-multi-currency-open-source-client-for-windows-58821) it just lacks a GUI...

Thanks for this info goes to Matoking.

Hmmm, good question. I'm not very good with GUI design but I could try...

Maybe I can find someone in the project development section to help...

Hello everyone,

I have put together some very basic tools for BTC/LTC newbies on windows operating systems. The files are nothing complicated and may not give the absolute best results possible, but they are designed for compatibility across a wide range of setups and for new users who may be intimidated by command lines and batch files.

I encourage newbies and senior members alike to check them out and offer any comments, questions or suggestions for new tools that they may have.

All files are completely transparent and open-source.

Here is what is included:

bitcoin.conf and litecoin.conf already setup for solo mining, just edit your user and pass and you're ready to go!!!

Easy bitcoin and/or litecoin launchers for launching your client in server mode.

Simple launchers for starting your bitcoin and/or litecoin client with the "-rescan" option for when your wallet is "lagging" behind the blockchain and doesn't show funds that you KNOW should be there.

If you have questions, comments and/or suggestions please feel free to contact me either here or at [email protected]
