I guess not many. In my experience, website owners will most often opt for free solutions, if they meet their requirements, or if their website is large enough, they will get a custom solution from companies that provide enterprise level solutions. Usually this way they get a solution tailored to their specific needs, and also get other services along the way.

I wouldn't agree with you, I would say most serious website owners pay for what they need to make their site make money. why not?
For demo or assaying ok to use free versions or limited, but it is a very low number of such useful plugins is free.

to OP, I will suggest you consider the possibility of an option where you will charge a percentage of the realized sale. it's better than a demo, reduces the initial investment for your potential customers, and if they have good traffic and sale, they can always buy the full version.

I tested the demo it seems fine there are two options to pay either the BTC mainnet or the lightning network.
The plugin is free but if you are going to host your BTCpayserver it would cost you or you need to host it at home with a full node and lightning network.

So far I don't see any problem using it and the good thing they also have a guide on how to apply the module and support Elementor.

It's already free. The price is for the integration setup. While most WP users know how to install from wordpress.org, there are people who don't know how to, don't want to spend their time, etc.
If companies prefer to buy enterprise-level solutions, they have the same choice: installing themselves or hiring someone to do it.
You're comparing 2 different things: the installation and the development.

As for @OP, a suggestion would be to add a premium membership option:
A person pays X BTC and get X days/weeks/months unlimited blog posts

An option for the broken persons to take a survey to be able to read a page/file/video.
The website owner receives a commission from surveys companies once the survey is complete. It's a win-win situation

The demo running fine and i didn't experience any problem. But as @dkbit98 said, the UI definitely need some improvement. For example, i find exchange rate "1 Sat = 1 Sats" is pointless. It should be hidden if the owner using satoshi as default currency unit.

Price for website integration is €249 and I think that can be reduced or maybe you could add several tier packages with lower prices.

IMO, it's acceptable price for premium support/service since the base product/support is totally free. Although i wonder how many people would pay for 249 EUR.

Website is good and I liked the speed of integration of the Lightning Network, but it is the same way of performance if you manage it using central databases, especially for viewing pages.
Most sites give the user a credit and then he can pay with that balance, and it is often about a dollar or two.

If you update the interface in a more modern way, everything will be excellent, the work is good.
And if you intend to translate the site into more languages, perhaps I can help you.

Didn't find if you are working with any altcoins but generally the idea looks cool.
However, you need to consider using multiple currencies. Currently, if someone decides to set a paywall to his article then transaction fee would be higher than purchase amount.

btw, do you have KYC or people may use your service without verification?

It is great that cryptocurrency payment alternatives and payment gateways are being developed.
However, it seems to me that the price is excessively high beyond the integration. Today there are several "freemium" and premium alternative options that don't have that cost.

I think you should think about your marketing strategy, for example:
x number of free transactions
different plans according to the needs of your target market

I hope you continue to grow and I wish you success.

I tested demo page and it works fine but I think there is a lot of room for improving, maybe reducing the size of font and adding better graphics.
Price for website integration is €249 and I think that can be reduced or maybe you could add several tier packages with lower prices.
I can't really compares your wordpress extension with other alternatives I never used, but I see there are free options available that work with woocommerce and btcpay.
