I make between 1.2 and 1.5 BTC a day with 1,000 Mhash/s.

Which pool are you using?
I'm stuck between 0.8 and 1 BTC with slush's and ~950MH/s.

Matt, are you solo mining?  Or part of a pool?

It shouldn't matter. The point of pooling is that you get smaller more frequent payouts as opposed to much slower yet much higher payments from solo mining.

go here:

Put your numbers in.  You can change the difficulty factor and take guesses at the exchange rate.
1 month numbers are not accurate since the difficulty would have adjusted a few times in 30 days.

I understand that the algorithm will continue to get more and more complex...  ...but in recent weeks, about how many bitcoins can you earn with 1 Gigahashes per second of computing power?
