Do a google search of single-word .pe domain names, and you'll find that they're not worth much unless you develop a site on them.

Is this auction over? What was the final selling price?

Yes, any 3 letter domain are $10k+, can even be $100k+ (letter, not numbers and letters).

Hi driksson,

How many BTC or fiats do you think COIN.PE could be worth?

Wow ~$2k for just that domain name? Kinda makes me wonder what my domain name (cam4btc.com) is worth ...

Would be worth right around what you bought it for. $10. Numbers as directions are rarely worth anything..
make sure you get 2cam4btc.com and cam2btc.com, then you secure your portfolio of $30 worth of domains!

Thanks for the info. Value is really counter intuitive then. I wouldn't spend much on a domain name any day but I'd certainly pay a lot more for cam4btc than for btc with a random letter added to the end. I can see bitcoin.com or btc.com going for a lot though. Ah well, in dutch we say: "Wat de gek ervoor geeft" Smiley

.com 3 letter that is.. not any other tld.
But lets wish this seller best of luck and stop bumping his thread with posts not related to his.

LLLL stands for LETTER LETTER LETTER LETTER .com

LNNL stands for LETTER NUMBER NUMBER LETTER .com

what I meant is... when an LLLL domain is readable like visa.com/wood.com etc... the price range is above 5kUSD or around 9kUSD...

if an LLLL domain is not readable (like zwgt.com).... I would say around 900 - 2000....

i would price the LLLL domain around 2k USD as well...

if it was readable/pronounceable... like (wood.com) it would go up to 9k+ USD....

How do you value these things? These numbers are way higher than I would reckon. llll.com is just retarded and btct is not great either (to me). Visa.com I can understand being very valuable though

I asked it before in this threat but no-one bit: What would the realistic value be of cam4btc.com? Because I would definitely sell for $20k Wink

What would one do with such a domain name?  Is it really worth btc in the name? no keyword targeting.

The domain would not be worth $20,000 to most knowledgeable people. However if someone's willing to pay that much they must believe it is. Either they're stupid or have a really good idea (I'm guessing the former).

Lol no-one's offering $20k

Woops I meant $2,000.

I'm about to auction my domain, tradeforbitcoin.com. I'll start that this evening, probably.

There's definitely a lot of potential for domains like these.

Wow ~$2k for just that domain name? Kinda makes me wonder what my domain name (cam4btc.com) is worth ...
There's only one way to find out... Wink

Nah, you can also, completely off topic, vaguely reference it in some obscure thread and see whether people respond or not.

lol you sure do sound like a sock.

Nope, probably not a sock. I was quite sure this was auction fraud, so I asked Theymos to do an IP check. No match.

I am a reseller of Asicminer in China. You can make sure it from Rockxie.
I use vpn for stable internet link. So the ip change  every day. You can write email to the reisgter to confirm it. [email protected]

Your IP changing everyday is not really supporting the you not using a sock suggestion. Anyway Are you okay with escrow and when will the auction end?

Well none of my socks use the same IP. (Just kidding)   But something just seems odd about this auction.

Im selling the domain. Bid in BTC.
Best domain for BTC service.

I bid for 10 BTC

well that jumped up pretty quickly.

proof of ownership and escrow will be used?

I guess the owner won't sell for a 0.x price.
I think it worth 10BTC for me.

Perfectly fair.

I just hope you will use escrow unless you really know the owner.
