I've been mining BTC/LTC coins lately... did a few years ago with BTC and lost the wallet thinking it would never amount to anything. Anyway... I figured I'd not loose anything if I mined some BTE for a day. (Probably like a few others)

I think that's normal. It needs 120 confirmations which takes a while now.
120 confirmations may seem extreme, but it was relevant during the March 11 fork. Since people had to wait 120 confirmations, nobody on the 'wrong' side of the fork lost anything by the time the fork was reconciled!

Is it normal that blocks are taking more than 6 hours to confirm according to http://pool.bytecoin.in ?
I've watched almost 100 blocks go by and 0 confirmations yet on my balance... Please excuse the ignorance.
