since there is no technical reason for any kind of limit, I's day this is very fishy.

at the very least, they are trying to deter people from margin trading across competition exchanges.

or they try to create a soft wall to make people deposit more and more and then just take all coins and vanish

there is no reason to use Bter. cryptsy, coinex all those are much better anyway and without limits

plus: Bter stinks of Chinese mob

I have about 1mil of DOGE on Bter and tried to withdraw today. Told me that the limit is 1K. Wow. To withdraw 1 mil I would have to put fund pass and captcha 1000x...

Also, this might be just me, but the awful graphics, the crappy design and the fact that is not https scares the crap out of me to do any serious trade with them...

It has been changed to 50mil daily. Each currency appears to have a withdrawal limit based on supply. Daily withdrawal for BTC for example is 30BTC.

Well, looks like Bter has a tendency to put limits on new and small coins. The same thing happen with a few others, and some they don't even allow you to withdraw or deposit at all!! Not my favorite exchange, that's for sure...

Yeah, that's a ridiculously low limit. Shocked

Looks like I won't be trading on there till that's fixed.

Thanks for this.

I have not yet tried depositing and trading DOGE on Bter. I expected to be able to withdraw much more. I will try depositing some DOGE then withdrawing over the limit to see if I have the same restriction.

It would be nice of Bter to explain this restriction before a deposit. How can traders be expected to do business with such restrictions?

I know. I was in shock as well. Try to withdraw yourself if you can. Looks like all the coins are set to 1000

I don't think so. Double check yourself. You might have done a mistake. If that is the case, I am sorry for.

I double check and still the same. 1000 DOGE limit, but not per day, per withdraw transaction.
