I think I'd prefer it the other way around - put a warning up if less than 10BTC or something had been invested, telling you that you may be putting your money into something that everyone else thinks is ridiculous.
I know more investment means a diluted share, but it also means more money for the developers to actually make the thing work and to promote it, and signifies that a lot of people think its worth putting money into. As far as I can tell, the more money people have invested the less risky it looks (unless of course you are just looking for obscure IPOs in the hope that others will hear about it too late and you can dump as soon as you get the chance to sell, but surely they can't expect that to be the standard approach of the majority of people?).
