Basically the development of BTG has improved since it was forked last year. After the fork they had tons of issues but managed to resolve most of them.

With the way they handled the attacks I was impressed.

However price is not taking a liking to the coin. I still remember this coin trading at $300 and I was thinking $1000 was possible, boy was I wrong.

I notice that the difficulty is really low for BTG, I've read that they recently got hacked. The price also looks to have just  been declining. Do you think that this coin has much potential to grow from where it is or do you think it will just fizzle out after the developers have milked it some more? From reading online most people don't seem to have much good to say about it. The relatively low difficulty and circulating supply is quite interesting though.

here is my review about it https://1stminingrig.com/bitcoin-gold-might-soon-become-a-great-mining-alternative-to-zcash/
and also how to mine btg https://1stminingrig.com/how-to-mine-bitcoin-gold-equihash-btg-hard-fork-successful/

Btcp is a total pump and dump garbage. $200 down to $7.68. It's nearly as bad as bitconnect. McAfee effect could not even revive that garbage.

At these price levels and difficulty it's worth it. They are for GPU mining. They hold the btc name so it's awareness is more known. Name is good. Active developers

So you think that it is a good coin and worth mining?

I believe everyone should do their research and come to their own conclusions, but since you asked specifically - yes I think it's a viable option to mine. I like that the developers are proactive and trying to keep it something that is for GPU miners and it is one of the top 30 coins based on market cap, so it's not going to disappear overnight like some scam coins do.

I mine it.

I think it is worth Mining.

By "hacked" do you mean the 51% attack from back before they forked to make asics be incompatible?  A 51% attack can happen to just about any coin if one individual can control that much of the network hashrate, and it's a prime example of why BTG was one of the first former Equihash coins to fork away from asics.
