Money and token have made their way to the moon, lol. Therefore, you might need to refresh them to get them back to earth. It's common. Several tokens are created as scams and are worth nothing except to surprise the user. Chill bro, just check out pancakeswap and see the value of your token, trust wallet has a lot of bugs.

The error happens when the fiat source has any bugs or the wallet itself and I had such experiences with coinbase and blockchain a long ago but now not giving much attention to the fiat value really just accept 1 btc = 1 btc and if you are sending money then converting using preev is always better or just ask the invoice from the merchant.

I got this 'bug' a few times. It's probably a problem on the API call, most of the time it got fixed by refreshing it. It's not a game-breaking bug and not really related to the security of the encryption itself. I don't think you have to be overly cautious due to this. CMIIW.

Maybe a syncing error? or just displaying the app syncing/loading default value? As there is a random or default number/value declared (by the developer) in every data but mostly it declared as zero or blank, it shows before showing the exact data from it's sources.

Anyway, I have a trust wallet app with balance on it but didn't encountered such thing while opening the app.
I presume the same thing which is on syncing error or simply some visual bug? I havent able to use trust wallet but i did make some experience on Binance which my balance is showing off some higher amount in terms of fiat but  when the time you do make out some hard refresh then it do shows off the correct one.So far that issue didnt happen again.
There were actually same scenarios with this.

I don't know if we can call it a bug because it hasn't been officially reported to all users so it look like a sync issue.
Most of these problems are solved by disabling the coin and enabling it again and sometimes you need to use VPN.
In general, they are all related to the user side, and if you feel a problem, it is better to use open source wallets.

It's common for it to show wrong balances until you refresh it, but I haven't seen abnormal balances before. They claim the pick coin or token price data from coinmarketcap so sometimes the problem could be due to CMC. Regardless, I would suggest you to use dedicated portfolio tracking apps for tracking your crypto holding.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

I was checking my USDT balance in my trust wallet but I was surprised to see the balance as it was above $100k (not USDT, overall balance) and my TEZOS (XTZ) balance was a lot. It was for a while I knew that it was a bug. The balance was gone after I refreshed it. If I can remember correctly, I have seen the same long ago.
What kind of bug is it? It’s not a off chain wallet. How can it happen?
