OK I downloaded the zip source from github. Followed the readmes, tried qmake, tried qtcreator - both give errors.
Does this thing actually work ?
I get a load of this using qmake ::

RCC: Error in 'src/qt/bitcoin.qrc': Cannot find file 'locale/bitcoin_bg.qm'
....etc etc
and I get
quark-master/src/qt/bitcoin.cpp:5: error: QApplication: No such file or directory
with qtcreator
