I know a person who can actually help you out in dealing with this but first, you'll need to show him that you've actually got funds with you which we call as PoF here (Proof of Funds). I highly doubt that being a brand new account, you're actually capable to buy even 10 BTC or what? OTC is the only best option for you of you're a genuine party there.

OTC full of fucking bullshit traders that gonna to find POF and use it to find another btc seller.

Thank you all for your input, I will be sending pm's to a few that I feel might be able to mentor/direct me in the right direction.

Since I am a newbie it will only allow me to send one message per hour.  (I guess that is why everyone is giving me a hard time)

Can anyone send me a message that I can reply to, or do I have to wait a full hour before messaging?  Also if I send a message it looks like some people may have settings to not even accept it since I am a newbie... Is that common practice?
Not really but there will be a red warning sign that the message was from a newbie. I would suggest to ask the person if they have telgram or whatsapp account so you can communicate quickly and easy. Just be aware who you deal with thus better to deal with those reputed members.

Anyways, why don't you do P2P as also what others suggested?

I dont mean to underestimate newbie, but a brand new account asking for a way to buy that much bitcoin monthly is just a bit shocking for me. I think OP should give more details on what payment method he will use to buy that much bitcoin in a bulk and what kind of transaction he prefers?

Anyone know where to start to buy BTC in bulk? Looking to purchase at least 1,000 coins a month for at least 6 months.  TIA Please pm me if you know of best way.

There are lots of bigger exchanges where you could buy as much bitcoin as you want. You could also choose your Mastercard or visa as a payment option. To secure your funds, you should look for a trusted and legal exchange rather than trusting anybody else. Exchanges like Kraken and Coinbase are examples of legit and trusted exchanges with high trading volume. You can look for an exchange that will make you feel comfortable without any doubt.
This is not recommended since this could lead to price manipulation. OTC solutions are the best solutions in this aspect and I would recommend LocalBitcoins as the P2P platform where op could get his job done.

However, 1000 BTC is an insane amount which is why op needs to follow all the security protocols before going through with this task.

I think the most reliable source fo purchase bitcoin in bulk. Is at the person who one or holding bitcoin because when you purchase using any application and request code to pay it on every agent you will pay a high cost charge but if you are find someone who sell bitcoin you can take the bitcoin in a negotiable price.

There are alot of trusted websites where you can deposit USD and exchange for bitcoins, you can go  to bitmex and buy there if you are really gonna be buying that much coins. And have some research first please before you go into bitcoin industry

True. Exchanges are normally pretty good with it, the thing is finding a reputable one with low fees. For me, it's hard to tell because i never did such big amounts in trade.

Here you can see a summary and comparison of them:

You can from nowhere and asks where to buy 1,000 BTC monthly or 6k BTC in 6 months.

I echo stedsm's post that there's somehow a proof that what you are looking for is legit.
