I don't think any of us will get rich any time soon. Btc price has been stagnating over the last 22 months. I think the wild rides are over. The only thing remaining is the halving event. Next halving in June/July'2016 will take us to around 500-700, and will come right back down to 230 or so.

Any time soon? What's that for you? 2-5 years? If yes then you're probably right. In 10-15 years things might look completely different.Furthermore keep in mind that after such mega bubbles like the last one a correction and bear market of 2 years is nothing unusual.Bitcoin is still in beta and an experiment.
If you can not handle that in the long run you should think about to leave that space.

It's not just about getting rich mate. It's about this new technology, it's about alternative to the rotten financial world wide system that will sooner or later get us all poor. Look at  Cyprus, Greece, etc.. This is just a beginning.

If we get rewarded and rich in the process and in the future from Bitcoin then let it be. If we don't then that's OK as well. It's about having the alternatives that we just never had before!

Something like Bitcoin has never done before. ...

But certainly has been done since (see altcoins).  If by "something," OTOH, you mean blockchain technology, then sure, but Bitcoin?  Bitcoin's far from unique.  Not a particularly good implementatio, at that  (quasi anonymity, doesn't scale, 3TPS limit, etc. Undecided

Something like Bitcoin has never done before. It disrupts industries that were never ever before encountered such competition, potentially ending up rendered as useless due the superior Bitcoin tech. We are entering uncharted territory. Predictions are purely speculative, but it doesn't take rocket science into seeing the potential. So we either go to 0 or we become rich in the next decade. There are no in betweens with this thing. If it takes off it will take off for real.

I like it! Thanks a lot for sharing! This is the best part of the article that sums it all up:

"If you cannot see the intrinsic value in transacting on a system that completely eliminates negative human qualities when it comes to trade, then you can just sit on the side lines while the rest of us get rich".
