The title of the thread is misleading. It is only your responsibility to secure your account and not bustabit. Also sharing the screen with some stranger you knew in the chat window of the site is quite stupid. You could have risked getting your bitcoin wallets exposed too if you did some transactions during the time the screen was shared.
Its indeed misleading yet it do hooked me up to click this board to see if its really a Bustabit scam yet we know the reputation of this crash site since in the beginning.

Sharing screen randomly because some people do tell they would deposit some btc is really the most dumbest thing to be done.Greed is one of the primary lesson so for OP this is some lesson learned for you.For sure you will be careful next time.

Someone @ me in chat. Told me to PM. I PM. He ask me for help to make bits. I said ok because i was getting 50% of his winnings. I msg on discord. He msgs on discord. He says he needs to see me play so Share screen. I share screen on discord. He tells me to make an account for him on bustabit so he can send 200k so I will play for him. I made the account, sent him the BTC deposit address, sent him the password to his account, he delays. 2 mins later I get logged out of @CYMRU (my account that got hacked) and I notice i cant log back in, he then leaves the call, then I see him playing on my account. Then here I am, back to having $0 to my name and sitting here on the verge of crying cuz this money was money was quite important. This is by far the worst thing that has happened to me all my life, losing $500. I need to know how this guy pulled it off because I don't know how he did it on discord. I didn't click any links or downloaded anything suspicious.

I wish I recorded the calls but I never thought the situation would ever come to this.

Here’s video of all I got from it; https://streamable.com/0k32v
Here’s a picture of someone else that had this happen to them, but the thing is I never download AnyDesk, It all happened on discord. Although he did ask me to download it. : https://imgur.com/a/QVjcaiR
When I read the tittle for the first time, I concluded that someone is getting something wrong because we know the owner of bustabit and bustadice to be a person of honor and the sites has been with us for a very long time . It is better that this thread should be kept for reference purposes because @op is misunderstanding something here and that is taking someone that has account with bustabit as bustabit! When dealing with someone online it is better to be wise and go into any action when you are hundred percent sure that what you are doing is right and your funds is not at risk in any way.

The moderator should lock this thread, it has no basis and OP should be given a warning for creating a misleading title on his thread, this is very harmful because it will show up in the internet and people might think Bustabit is indeed a scam based on the title of the thread.

Op, please listen to others and change the name of the thread. Bustabit is a reputable website, and the scam had nothing to do with them (at least, this is what your story suggests). Don't confuse others with this.
As for the scam, I am sorry for your loss. We all make mistakes and eventually learn from them. The story is a bit vague, since I don't understand why would anyone want to cooperate with you to give you half of the winnings.. Too good to be true kind of situation. Since I guess you don't even know the scammer, there is probably nothing you can do... Enable 2FA for future protection. And I wouldn't share my screen with a stranger. Not to mention that some programs allow not only to see the screen, but to access your PC and change stuff on it.

I made the account, sent him the BTC deposit address, sent him the password to his account

It's a bit confuse on here. He says that he sent him the password to his account, so it means, he shares the password to that guy.
yes  because he created the account for the guy  .

I am sure that with that password, that person can be able to login into the account and take over the account.
but the account have no balance  . its a newly created account  .

But we don't know the true story of this so we could only guess of what is the real problem on him.
the story of the op is already posted above  .  we can see that he is been scammed on discord  .  this was actually an obvious attemp , if this happen to me im sure that i can detect it instantly   .

LOL you fall far a scammer than why are you putting Bustabit's name on the title?
Who loans anyone through a gambling site without any escrow? People find it hard to get a loan with proper reason and escrow here.
You were nearly sure your loan was going to be gambled. Take it as you gambled that money and lost. You are the one who is totally responsible for it.

it's his own mistake, not Bustabit, it's his carelessness that got him to this, unfortunately, he creates a wrong title for his thread to attract people from reading his post, when it's not Bustabit fault at all, feel sorry for Bustabit for irresponsible poster like this who uses the reputation of the site, just to attract readers , worse thing is OP is not log in here anymore to change the title, last login was Aug 1

Op got scam by someone else but title said "Bustabit scam". So the title of this thread is totally wrong. Sorry for lose but most likely you lost your fund due to your greedy behaviour. There is no any other way to get back your fund because your account has been hacked. You should not share screen with any unknown person. They might hack everything from your computer. Remember, scammers are more than smarter from us.

Op should change the title of your thread.

Yup.

This was a way to get peoples attention, as there was obviously no hack here. This was a slip of a persons judgement driven by greed, nothing more and nothing less.

Pretty sad to see someone lose money, but you truly do have to be more cautious and you can't trust anyone.

Please change your title. It's very misleading and isn't good for bustabit, which has been a trusted company in BTC gambling for several years now. Something like "I was scammed by a user of Bustabit" is way more accurate.

This is by far the worst thing that has happened to me all my life, losing $500. I need to know how this guy pulled it off because I don't know how he did it on discord. I didn't click any links or downloaded anything suspicious.
Slightly off-topic, but this is partially your fault. If this money is so important to you, what are you doing, gambling it? I understand you might be in a bit of a pickle, but sometimes you have to tough it through instead of risking all your money. I hope you take this as a good lesson, never gamble money you can't afford to lose. You definitely won't get your money back, because this is your own issue, not bustabit's.

Don't trust anyone with anything related to money if you don't know them for a long time. The person likely saw your username and was able to guess your password, or you made him an account w the same password.

Op should change the title of your thread.

I have already mentioned that in my post that the thread title is quite confusing but it seems OP is not responding anymore, so let's just consider that he had already move on, accepted his loses and abandon the thread.

Did you have 2FA turned on?
Without turning it on, accounts can easily be hack.

Hey OP, your thread title is a bit confusing, you are scam by someone and not bustabit and I don't think you still have a chance to recover you money as the site itself won't entertain complains like that. You should just take this as your learning experience, sad that you loss a big amount, but like I said, there's nothing you can do get your money back from that scammer.

Edit, I didn't notice this is already over a month, and OP was online yesterday, so hopefully we can here some info from him.

I think when you shared screen with him... He was able to see your username/email and then when you created an account for him, you probably used the same password so it was easy for him to get your password and log into your account
