I also got one refreshed 2 or 3 times then it was just loading in the browser without showing any page then closed my browser after half an hour I opened and saw my post was submitted by it self Smiley .
Is there any cheap way of getting protection against DDOS attacks?
I just assume there are ways but it's expensive.

It isn't just you. Seems like at least the most common error messages were changed to custom ones (including error 503, which pops out when you make more than 1 request per second for an extended period of time). In terms of the 502, it usually pops up when the server is under heavy load (e.g. DDoS attack) - nothing really you can do there.

Had this happen while sending a pm to someone.
It keep timing out then left it for about 5 minutes. Then tried resending again.
Checked the outbox and it was sent 5 times because it timed out the first 4 times in the previous attempts to send out. Lips sealed
I just let it rest for 1 minute intervals before trying to access another page on the site then it cleared it's self up.
