I'm developing several bots for Bitcoin-related profit-making. My best ideas work on fee-free GLBSE (since fees are maker/taker), but they'll only work if nobody else does them. After I put lots of work into programming, though, I always want to share it with someone, if not everyone. So what do I do with my great ideas which will only make money if only I use them?

You can sell the software once you're done using it, the GPL is not incompatible with selling free software. Or you could do some kind of auction/fundraiser to release the source code to the public (e.g. "if people donate BTCx I will release the source code") and either sell binaries (because people are lazy/don't know how to compile from source) or release them for free as well.
