ordering now.. you might be splitting the costs thinly over the course of a long time.  it's plausible that the device never earns back the coins it costs to buy.  there are millions in preorders which will cause the difficulty to get to ridiculous numbers by the time a unit ordered today arrives.

that said, I still would hold onto a couple preorders just in case it does pan out well, but profit is not a sure thing buying a unit.  difficulty bites back hard.

Ok, unfortunately we were only able to sell about a third of the shares. All payments have been refunded, if someone didn't get their payment, please PM me and I will track it down.

If anyone is still interested in this deal, please PM me, I may be willing to put up more capital myself to buy the second miner. Depends on what deal can be reached.

Best,
    Pablo.

I am splitting the auction into 2 x 25GH miners instead of one 50GH miner. Both 25's will mine together. This has been worked out with concerned parties. The main reason for this is that after discussion, I feel that if we are unlucky enough that one of the rigs were to fail, we can still redistribute outstanding shares to the other one and preserve value instead of being SOL.

I have a copy of the receipt for the first rig paid today that I will send to whoever requests it with my US address blanked out. People who commit to buying will get a link to the official copies of both purchases in full from bitpay. Yes, I know, I could have posted it here but I can't figure out the html to post the pic from my desktop. Just PM me and I will email it to you.

Pablo.

I was curious and found this: http://www.eia.gov/electricity/sales_revenue_price/

exported to excel and an average of all the suppliers is 11.76 cents   :-D

the Southwest is actually cheap because of solar

Thanks for clearing that up Smiley.

Well, I pay 20 cents, and that is higher than many areas.

Ok then: I hereby give notice I took the 0.36 c per KW/H measure from a preloaded calculator. The Bolivian rate is accurate, please make your decisions accordingly Smiley.

36 cents? Where is that, the Southwest?

Not sure if being in the SW is good or bad, its just the number I got off of the butterfly labs calculator.

I want to inform everyone who has PM'd me and those of you who have already bought shares that I ran the numbers as requested:

Bolivian electricity cost is 0.11734c KW/h vs. 0.36c KW/h in the states.

I appreciate everyone who wanted hard numbers, I will be PMing those who requested the electricity documents, if anyone else wants any other data, please PM me.

Ideally I would like to have this deal finalised this week.

Due to interest interest and other factors, new share prices will be 55 USD per GH (and here they will stay). Each GH will constitute 1 Share. Those of you who already closed with me at 50 have their prices maintained, I will be emailing out the partnership agreements as soon as I know how many people will sign up so that we can all get the same deal.

Best,

sounds interesting. i may be interested in half but, you are so new to this forum.

Yes, I can't do anything about that unfortunately.

I can however offer proof of my identity and I can also offer proof that I have been trading in Linden Dollars (a virtual currency) since 2006 to which period my Second Life Delivery Avatar dates. I have also been selling WOW codes for several years and can offer proof as well.

In the end you have to decide for yourself what you are comfortable with but if you google my RL name or my avatar name or any of the webstores I am associated with you will not find a single allegation of fraud. The worst I have is late deliveries when I had some sort of delay, never exceeding 24 hours.

PM me and I am happy to provide you with the details so you can check me out and decide for yourself.

Best.

I'm wondering whether anyone would be interested in partnering up and purchasing a 50GH ASIC Unit from butterfly labs.

http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/

I would be wiling to sell 25 G/H at 50 USD per share. Each share would be constituted by 1 GH and would never expire. We would split the profits in this way for the life of the machine.

The machine would be hosted in Bolivia where electricity is dirt cheap and where qualified tech support that can not be provided by myself is even cheaper.

PM me if you are willing to deal, I have been up front about my identity and my phone number is in my signature, I will provide my RL details to those who sign up for the deal. Ideally Id like to deal with 2-3 people who buy most shared but I am willing to negotiate. If you only buy 1-2 shares I may increase the price to 55 USD per share.

Ive been dealing in Virtual Currency since 2006 and I am associated with TradeLindens.com and several other sites.

Paul.
