Sometimes everything needs a complete power down, cool off and restart, probably not more often than every couple of weeks though (Unless you're running on Windows XP, I'd restart that weekly)

I hope you have solved this problem by now, but just in case here is something I recently found.
After 3 months constant use the number of stale shares was increasing...a lot.
I opened it up and found the problem....poor thermal paste. A little MX5 later and the jally is as good as new again

I'll try switching round the PSU's, I tried this a little while ago, but this didn't help, although the drop was only 5-10% back then, so less noticeable.

I would say it's the PSU if you have looked after them well.

Hi,

I currently have 6 x 50ghs butterfly miners, 4 are working brilliantly and have been for some time. Although just recently 2 of them have dropped hashing rates, approx 30%.

Any ideas why this would happen all of a sudden? Can I do some sort of reset on them to factory settings?

I haven't modified or overclocked it in any way, They have been used in a very well cooled environment and temps have always been kept very low.
