Topic: Butterfly Labs starts censoring its forum, don't order anything from them!!! (Read 1361 times)

Nope, the main reason I started this is because they lied 2 times about when the shipping starts for the monarchs and I'm not an earlier preordered so I'm guessing people got lied to a bunch of time. I've been waiting for also 6 months now but some have for more than a year. I could be alright with that if they would compensate for the additionnal delay, like any good and respectable company would do, the trouble is they don't do that with the "lastest" preorderers.

BFL had a couple of compensations offered for those who were waiting the longest a couple of months ago. First compensation was "double hashrate", which came with a "no refund for a year and a half if you accept" clause, which some users on the forum were starting to debate if its really legal to do that. They'll probably get banned soon enough. Now the biggest joke I heard from a guy that preordered just a couple of weeks or maybe a month or 2 before me was... "They offered my a 50% off coupon on a 600GH monarch has a compensation!" LOL. Of course the guy was in rage, what kind of compensation is that?!? Give us more money so you might have another of those miner we have been delaying for months and that will be worthless when we ship them!

Are people still pre-ordering Monarch's? Their only product that made me some kind of profit was the FPGA singles.

Probably already mentioned....

They have for the most part muted any complaints or open discussion almost from day one on their forums. And continue to shout down anyone that tries to tell the facts as they are. Welcome Neo to reality.

They MAY be trustworthy NOW,BUT,by the time August rolls around & the network is at 150+ Petahash,you'll wish you had bought BTC

Spondoolies currently is not. I emailed them a few days ago and they are only a preorder at present. However, they're quite trustworthy and will be shipping SP30's soon.

If I would have been insulting or trolling I would've accepted that like anyone with a brain but I honestly was only asking for more transparency from their part. For those guys Snowden is probably without a doubt a traitor and all that, what kind of asshole ask for transparency and treating people like humans?!? ...banned for life lol.

Glad to see I'm not the only dumbass that trusted them, because well said if you think about trust BFL, you're a dumbass ...and unfortunatly I'm guilty as charged.

Trust me,I hate BFL with a passion,I was in on FPGA fiasco & like a dumbass I believed them with the 65nm when they said "We learned from our mistakes & will do better!"  

BTW,I was a day one 65nm orderer (June 2012) & waited over a year

I didn't know that, of course, since I would've never made business with them and you're right 28nm, my mistake, I didn't want to make them look like they are not 6 month (or even more) behind competition lol.



Ok then I won't mention KnC's name, but again my goal here is not to promote KnC it's to expose BFL. If I had to bet my life on "Who's gonna ship first KnC 20nm's Vs BFL 28nm's?" I'd take KnC without even thinking about it, maybe that would be a mistake but I doubt they lied 4-5 times to their customers. If I'm not mistaken when BFL starting BSing shipping dates it was around december 2013, I preordered on january 1st, they told me shipping near april, then 5 weeks delay, then another unspecified delay, now we are in june and I don't expect anything before august (if I can't be refunded of course). If that's not total lies and trying to steal people I don't know what is.

Well that's mainly what I'm saying, I'm just mentioning KnC because they have the best miners availiable right now.

Also, it's 28nm, not 24nm.

Wow I just realize BFL deleted all my post on their forum and my account and believe me I'm not a troll. I honestly only want information and transparency from them, apparently it will get you banned (even if they hold thousands of dollars of your money)! It's completly incredible to see how much they don't respect Freedom of speech and I can't remember a time in history where good things happens when some people are blocking Freedom of speech. They really are despicable people!  

Uh,KnC is NOT much better,maybe read their thread here on the forum before you start championing for them 

DO NOT BUY PREORDERS,PEROID.There's plenty of miners you can buy right now & they SHIP right now................

I just want to explain my situation and the one of many MANY other customers of BFL at the moment. Just to put you guys in context, BFL is developping it's monarch miner which is a 24nm ASIC that was supposed to start shipping on April 2014 (that's the first estimation/lie they told).

Then came 2 other delays that wasn't expected by anyone so now everybody are asking for refunds. What's BFL answer to that? They start deleting all "negative" post concerning anything about refunds, compensations or any other question people have on when will they actually ship their miner for real.

They really REALLY are a shady company that doesn't respect their customers at all so I greatly advise you to never ever EVER buy ANYTHING from those guys. There are actually many complaint that the don't respect the legal rules of refunding their customers, it's all on many posts on their forum where many customers are in a bit of panic mode. Which means BFL is nothing a game player anymore and the way the disrespect their customers, they will go bankrupt for sure, so again DON'T BUY anything form them. Just go with the sure shot and real leader in the industry KnC miners.

If you're waiting for your monarch or refund too please comment, people need to know how weird BFL's behavior is at the moment. They really look like they are gonna scam us all with all the BS that comes out of their mouths.
