Someone's never heard of supply and demand.......

By the time someone is willing to sell a 5830 for $89 it will be absolutely useless to do so.

Hi

I will offer $89 per card for two 5830's.
I seriously doubt anyone would sell the card to you, considering they fetch at least $150 on ebay.

stop lowballing everyone. if you can get one on newegg, then why don't you just go ahead and just grab one then? you make it sound like there's infinite supply of these at dirt bottom prices. so while you wait a long ass time for one at your asking price, you could have been mining during that time if you bought one at regular asking price and made more. good luck waiting forever.

Yeah first, who ever said $149 a month. I'll tell you what, you go buy one, give it to me, and i will give you $149 a month.
Second.
going rate for a 5830 as of 2 days ago for fastest shiping are as followed bassed on my own purchaces

Used + 2 day usps (overnight if not bought on a sunday) 7.5 btc
Used + regular shiping 5.5 btc
New + 2 day 6.5 (got one hell of a deal)
Used + 3 day fed ex 5btc

Alot of people ask for 12 at first, but after a a little pm ping pong, the above is a pretty good idea.

P.S. Currently on Amazon there is one seller with 5830's for like 150usd. New, plus you can do the rebate with it so its like 130. BUT, I payed for express shiping through amazon, and the dick ships it Priority and pocketed about $24 out of the shiping.

If you go

http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator.php

input the next difficulty level - 1167734.0, and 300 Mhash/s (max rate for 5830) and $18 per bitcoin which IS $4 more than they are currently trading for.  You get

                 Coins   Dollars
per Day   ฿0.26   $4.65
per Week   ฿1.88   $33.92
per Month   ฿7.86   $141.40

So, it will take 1 month of mining with no difficulty increases just to break even...lol.

I will wait patiently as I will snag 2 of these cards for nothing.  They are not good for gaming so they are useless outside of mining.

Hi

Ok, troll, let's run that game with the specs for a 6830.
Same difficulty: 1167734
6970's max rate: 420 mHash/sec
Exchange Rate: 18

Troll (hi/angelus) gets:

   Coins   Dollars
per Day   ฿0.36   $6.56
per Week   ฿2.66   $47.82
per Month   ฿11.08   $199.37

Spending $300+ (not including shipping), and you break even Tuesday after thanksgiving, troll.

So, by your math and horrible-theorycrafting-type-soothsaying-of-things-you-know-not, not really any card is worth it. Keep circle jerking and posting on everyone's 5830 post and you'll be SOL with all your waiting. Good luck, troll, and next time you sell your 5830 for $50 stop and think about it for a sec, instead of trying to rain on everyone's parade.

This moron fails to understand many factors involved.

People who already own these will either return them through newegg for a full refund, or keep using them sense they are well paid off by now.

$109 is the price for people who don't even use them for mining, so no way in hell will you ever get these cards that cheap.

Plus you have no idea where the price of bitcoins will go, if bitcoins is to succeed, the value of them can only ever go up overall.

You keep posting that in multiple threads, and it's just not true.

You must be trying to pollute the market with misinformation hoping to get some newbie to give you their cards for next to nothing.

Hi Hi...check out

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180684983053

I posted 2 great, semi-minty Sapphire 5830's. $107.50 for the both last I checked. You can just bid there if you want a fair and square deal.

BTW Calculate longer than 3 days for mining...and consider btc value (which is volatile, ehh).
