I am trying to buy bitcoin from Lebanon, but I can' open an account in an established exchange, even by providing an ID ( I am just an average guy btw, not affiliated to any party). It seems that a minority of Lebanese have given a bad name to all of us Sad .

Has anybody been able to open an account and send money from Lebanon to this account? Which exchange did you use? Please share your experience if you have any.

If you were able to buy BTC from Lebanon succesfully, please do let me know as I am based in Lebanon and would want to do the same.

Thanks

I trade and buy bitcoins at Paxful but I don't think there's a difference
as long as you can find someone you can trade with at your location.
Also it has more than 300 payment options.

Believe me, you should feel great no being able to use exchanges that ask you for ID because If you was able to, that will only screw your privacy. As an alternative, I suggest using Virwox.com, It's one of the oldest exchange out there, support multiple payment methods like PayPal, Skrill etc...and as you asked, no ID required, there is some fees and limits that you will need to deal with though.
To use virwox you need a verified paypal account if your to do any trading with that way of payment.

Maybe localbitcoins if you can find a local person to trade with would be your best bet.

I have my PayPal account verified and I didn't need to use any ID in order to send or receive funds. PayPal verification was never easier then It is right now with all the virtual visa cards.
What about those who are in countries that do not allow them to verify your account then what use is trying to use virvox with paypal?
They do not allow them too.

I think the best ideal is to use  VPN then open your wallet account and exchange.

Definitely not a good suggestion, using a VPN with exchanges in order to use services that you are not allowed to use could lead you into some problems, It's better to keep your money safe without buying bitcoins instead of taking such a risk and lose everything.
