The thing here is that Bitcoin's value will eventually increase and investors no need to worry about its price that is now falling. You might be waiting the price to go down below $6k or something but my advice to you is that you buy this at current price and hold for long term and you will reap almost 300-400% profit within few years if the same trend continued and if the price do not go down you might miss the boat and regret afterwards so it is good to buy now and enjoy the price rising later as every price below $10000 is cheap if we are trading in bitcoin.So don't loose opportunity.

the price is now 6,600 its good to buy bitcoin now it will go up again at $7500 but its up to you if you want to wait lower again at $6000 but its hard to predict when it will lower the price again.
I buy bitcoin whenever it drops atleast $500 because I know for sure after a week or two it will increase to more than $1000, that's good enough for an investor like me who do not have much capital, with this earnings you can start buying again when the price drops or invest some in altcoin, there's a lot of way to earn in bitcoin you just need to be patience and wise.

Not sure if at the current moment it would be a smart choice storing the newly purchased bitcoins onsite, or withdrawing them immediately. Some sites have technical trouble like Kraken. Withdrawals can get difficult.

You have advised to buy a small amount of BTC which is up to some extent right to be safe but I am fond of affordability, if someone has the purchase power to buy in bulk then it's good. So those who held bitcoin on that day and who have their private keys to that wallet can get their bitcoin gold tomorrow when they open it up on their site to claim it.
Right now, I think the best option to do is just wait, seems like it will go down by a lot and prices will even reach back to $5,500 probably. Maybe invest your bitcoins on other altcoins for now like DOGE which is really low. I've done so and invest probably about half a bitcoin on DOGE since it has been low for the past weeks and has even reached an all time low. Probably it will pump to 120 sats again in the next few weeks.

While we could imagine the BCH taking over, I don't think that "big players" who want to keep the risks low, would end up getting interested in any other crypto than the BTC.

I made a quick test on Kraken anyway. Buying 1 BCH from & to BTC. It took like 10 attempts & several minutes. When it's gonna dump there's no way this is bearable.
& there aren't many other platforms that support BCH for europeans.

i suggest to wait instead of buying now adays cuase bitcoin value as of now is to expensive and we cannot speculate if this scenario can give us profit cause maybe theres a chance that bitcoin will fall because of its volatility. The price may continue to fall a little bit, but if I were you I'd buy at least some now in the mid-6000s. A lot of the drop from low 7000s to mid 6000s was just the pump on the pump and dump coin Bitcoin Cash. Once it dumps in a few days most of that money will be transferred back to Bitcoin. I think most likely bitcoin will just trade sideways for a bit, with ups and downs, until it is ready to move to 8000 and beyond in the next few weeks.

Certainly, today's rate can be a good time to enter Bitcoin but since some are expecting it to go lower then buy some for now and then wish that it can go lower so we can buy more.
One thing that I learned in Bitcoin is that it can go down or go dip suddenly and then before you know it the climb back has already started because there are people who are just waiting for its price to go down before making any move. This is the very mechanism actually that so far Bitcoin has not yet popped though it has been called a bubble by the many.
All of these things make Bitcoin a very exciting super currency to work it...definitely there is no boring day with Bitcoin! And next year...it would be the more the merrier as there can be new markets to open up and we can see more and more people getting into the Bitcoin bandwagon.

Even though right now the price has already grown to $6700 and we're seeing a considerable amount of bounce back in the bitcoin price i would still think that it's a great to buy in some cheap coins still. The fact is that BCH got pumped hard and when it gets dumped, BTC will probably go back up to its former glory.
Potentially this could be a bull trap, but it doesn't seem like it right now. The price has stabilized above $6700 for an hour now with the trend looking like it's just going to keep going up and break the $7k barrier.

Its up to you if you want to buy or wait. Because all decision is in your hand maybe the price of bitcoin will continue to decrease or it will decrease again. Because we don't know what actuall happen . But I hope the price of bitcoin will recover again so we can make more profit .
I think bitcoin will be lower $6500 and by that time you can buy. This is always happening the correction of btc price up and down. If you can take the risks buy at the current price then hold as we know our prediction that btc may increase again.

Well, since the price is continuously falling, I suggest you to wait alittle more but to set a particular price. Maybe a price of 6300$, if possible, is a good one. Still, we don't know how low will it fall now that the segwit2x is cancelled as some people are saying and if it's true, I think it will affect the value of Bitcoin. Because it is expected that after the fork, the value of Bitcoin will be more expensive and now that it won't happen this month, I think it will affect the value of Bitcoin , just not sure wgether it is positive or negative.
Better to act fast, we have seen trends about the price recovering in a very short span of time. If it dip a little more and you already bought some, don't worry because sooner or later you will gain profit just be patient enough and don't panic.

Once it starts to get back up, stop investing and hold on for a time until you reach your profit threshold level - sell it.

I think that it will continue down in this week. You can wait until $6000 to buy. In next month, Bitcoin will go up again.
BTC will get back when BCH will dump. Can't tell right now if BCH already started dumping but it has certainly stopped rising
If you are playing long term, 5-10 years anything under $10k is probably going to get you at least 500% profit.. IMO anyway. Short term probably can it in a bit lower..
