With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?
I've never think of pulling out my money even btc fall below $6k border line cause I'm pretty sure it rise up again and mark another ATH. We consider this year isn't good looking for crypto as many corrections and long term declines happens buy it won't make me losing my trust into it.

Really? I was sure that everyone, who hold the cryptocurrencies thinks sometimes of selling them when the market starts falling. However, it is much better not to do it. Just wait for the bull run.

In the past week, btc has reached over $ 7k but has now dropped to around $ 6k4. No one can know when btc can rise again, if you want to make a profit then you must take risks. The greater the risk, the greater the profit. However, you can also choose safeguard rather than wait until the btc price is stable. I think it's pretty long.

if I see what's happening in the Crypto market today is very worrying, for those who have bought at a very high price and what is happening as has been seen by many people, that the current price of crypto is devastated, and for example you are not yet once entered into the crypto, for me this is your chance to buy and invest your money, even though today many people are still traumatized about the purchase that will be done by many people, but you have to have the principle and own principle in doing something for your own good .
There is no need to be worried about a market with future and I wonder why people get worried anyway if they understand the prospect and what the market holds with respect to its value based on usage in the long run.
Buying at a very high price does not mean you are doomed if the market is down, and the only time you lose anyway is if you eventually opt in at loss which I believe any sane person should not do. In the best case, it is better to have a clear mind towards the future than worrying about the present.

I am ready to buy bitcoin of all the falls that the market gives us. It is better to go at the lowest price, than to miss the moment and stop by when the currency will show a positive growth rate.
That is usually the best way to go in most cases, and for those who are smart enough, they would not even want to blow the chances of buying the dips rather than missing it eventually and regretting it as that is what a lot of people will end up doing and then we will start seeing another thread of those wishing for the prices they could have gotten in and how some of them missed the chance.

Buying in now with the chances of the dips and even more dips as long as you believe in the market is all that counts. Buying now is recommended only for bitcoin like highly recognized coins. For most other coins, opting out to watch the market fluctuations is highly suggested instead of getting struck with negative markets.

The best thing to do is just invest even more in order to earn more profit because the market prices today is still dumping then you can take advantage of the situation to hoard more coins in a cheaper value.

Refusing to crypto-currency is a total stupidity, especially for those people who just recently believed in its future. Therefore my opinion is: You can not refuse from crypto currency, if we support it, we will get much more in return.
Yeah you are right, cryptocurrency investment is a business and ups and downs and profit and loss are the parts of business. You will have to be patient and don’t be panic. Good times will come soon and the current situation of the bitcoin market will come to an end. Then you will be happy with your investment, but try to overcome this bearish situation.

I chose to buy the bitcoin and I bought it, you can see that the milestone of $ 6700 is milestone and the bitcoin price will be able to reach the $ 6600 mark to test the trend and then begin to increase. I think that at this point you should buy bitcoin because according to my analysis, the bitcoin price will reach the $ 7200 mark in the coming days.

Now is'nt the time to sell bitcoin. buy bitcoin right now with the most capabilities you can. This is a good time to buy bitcoin at a better price than ever before
Just look at the prices right now. We have had a drop of up to $1000 dollars and the current values are roaming in the $5800 but again there is a new rise today and the prices jumped again to the $6000 plus values. These fluctuations just shows that the market is still alive and we might approach some good equilibrium sooner or later so I think you should not opt out and rather hold.

Actually if I have money for buy bitcoin I will buy more as I can. I've joined the forum since a few months ago and at least have made me to stay in cryptocurrency under any circumstances. I'm not concerned about price drops or price reductions will get me out of cryptocurrency, that's so unreasonable. I will tell you, I've felt a significant price increase last year in just a few months and I really like that, but now I have to accept also if the bitcoin price has drastically decreased.
I will never out because I know that the current situation is for the time being and soon it will grow again. We will have to hold our coins till that time if we want to earn money from bitcoin. If you become panic and withdraw your money you will lose the opportunity of making huge profits in the future. I am optimistic about the shining future of bitcoin.

In the past , there was a baron called Rothschild who made a fortune from buying everything he could from people who were in panic post the war of Napoleon and Waterloo . This guy/family are now worldwide known for controlling the central bank , governments , agencies , banks and everything that has any degree of power on some people . This baron said that "the time to buy is when there's blood in the streets. " ..
And i believe that the streets are a blood bath for the moments , but believe me sooner or later the streets (market) will be clear again and all those who bought when it was messy will be back to collect their profits , like what did baron Rothschild Wink .

If I have a lot of capital most likely buy bitcoin including a powerful way when traders want to create a big income going forward because the price of coins will not go down so they will also increase and be able to make merchants happy to achieve success.

Why would we opt out in a reliable cryptocurrency? Maybe when you panic you think of selling your stocks, but that is not the solution to the market drop we experienced. I would rather buy some more because we know that taking the risk will have a better gain.

Always wait when market is getting out of control and getting too much volatile. Because we have no idea whether the market will be crashing further or will it be hiking then after. Once the market moves down then its the sign you wait patiently and find the bottom of market. Once it reaches the lowest level then you can always buy more coins there and try to increase your portfolio. This you will do because the next step would be high spikes in the way and green profits for you.
If the market is going up instead of more crash then obviously you wait and find the peak point and sell whatever you want and as much as you want.  Smiley
Keep it simple!

The market is open to long-term speculation when bitcoin is low at ~ $ 6000. Bitcoin will create a balance before it really reaches maturity in value later. The opportunity is really good for those who are interested in this market and the opportunity to get rich from their own beliefs. Joining and waiting is what I'm doing.

I might not purchase $6700 Bitcoin but anything near the low 6ks I would purchase and I would get ready to either buy more below 6k or ready for the run up. It seems like we are overdue here for a heater, but it will only happen when we least expect it I feel like.

I think the people lost their faith in exchanges not in the crypto. But everything will come back to normal in few months. I agree about buying.
Be very confident it is the only thing needed for crypto you sir if you don’t do it you will not be the right person for this investment my opinion is always same hold on.
It is always better to buy in the dip market as same thing you get at lower price rather than buying at the later stage when the maker has picked up and may not get the better profits. So keep buying and do not sell just due to some rumors.

Of course it's better to buy at dip but it's not always that easy to know when is the best time to invest and if that coin is ever going to rise again. BTC is a safe bet so this is one of those rare times when you know what to do.  Grin

The best thing to know about the market is to buy when the prices are low and sell it again when the market price increases in order to earn more profit, so right now is the best time to invest because bitcoins is down to $10k dollars.

I would just wait for the price to go under 6000 USD or maybe under 5000 USD and I will start buying.
The only bad decision would be the sell all your bitcoins.Just HODL and buy some (if you have any money to invest).Such prices falls happen every summer.2016 it was the Bitfinex hack, now it`s some small Korean exchange being hacked.Last year was an exeption. Grin
Yeah, that would really be a very bad decision as it is not even a good thing to start selling when you should be buying. The idea is always to do the opposite of what others are doing. We are in a bear market and I see bear markets as bonus time to stash up for the future and when that future comes and we get to see the FOMO, then we may actually consider that as sweet time to sell. For now, I believe we are in a time to buy up rather than opt out.

It's upto you, if you will need the money within few months then don't invest everything and invest little by little but if these are your savings and you wouldn't need these funds in the coming years just buy it now don't hesitate, this is a really good price to enter and within few years crypto is easily going to be a trillion dollars market

I rather buy more than regret it later when the price surge. The only reason the bullish run stopped because of the recent hack but i think this second quarter will have an uptrend especially when the US exchanges now legally accepts bitcoin trading. So better take advantage of the dips.

Buy if you are confident with bitcoin that will rise again in a long time. If the price decrease gives a lot of chance to buy then buy. But don’t panic if the reality is different, if you have bought some but the price decreased slowly, just believe bitcoin will recover again and will rise again Smiley

This is a voice of hundreds and thousands of promoters to bitcoin that this wouldn’t be letting you down. Selling your BTC's at such low rates will only make you face losses. So selling is not the best option. We have noticed many drops in the price of Bitcoin till now but it has always recuperated from such drops and reached to a new all time high value.I am sure that it will soon bounce back from this particular drop also.So I will advice you to take this price drop as an opportunity to buy some more if you can otherwise keep holding the BTC's you have until you get a better price to sell. This will help you to make more profits.

I have not seen nothing much to worry about yet. The most important thing for me now is to keep buying the dips and I have allocated certain percentage of my funds for that, and I really do not care if it goes lower, as that would give me chance to buy more.

It has worked for me in the past several times, and it sure will still keep working for me. Opting out should only be relevant to you if you are a trader and you sure know what to look out for, and I am sure you would not be asking this question if you are one.

Relax and don’t panic, it will recover. If people panicked and sell them then it will worsen the market situation and it will be more difficult to recover.

This is the time to be strong and Patient. The patient ones in crypto always win at the end of the day. Why should you opt out when you have been able to stand the various falls that came in crypto market. Your winning time is close and you should wait and enjoy.

You're right, why would anyone opt out now when the market is down and the potential at making money is rising? In a few months everything will reset and coins prices will rise again.

Exactly, As I have said, this is a perfect time to buy in and not to opt out. If you opt out right now then when you are going to re-enter? When the market has already recovered? It doesn't sounds healthy if you are a investor. Usually investors see's money when the market is going red. And once we recovered (we don't know when its gonna happen), at least you have place your investment in the right time and can gain the fruits of it in the future.

I guess we'll see soon enough. The market is recovering and profit is on the horizon.  Cool

For me it's a buy in of course, I must not let the opportunity slipped again. Even if I wait for months or years for the return atleast I wouldn't feel any regret when the time comes. It wouldn't also bad if you opt out because you won't lose anything but still taking the opportunity is the best.
Definitely right, do buy more and don't let this opportunity gone. You must keep on believing and be strong because this market is here to stay. Bitcoin and other great coins will rise again in the right time just keep on accumulating and don't ever try to exit the market at a loss. Keep on holding and stay away yourself from the exchanges it can just makes your emotion doubt about this technology.

I think you should opt in for trading. These are the lowest and the best price you can get in the market.Be wise and diversify your investment in Bitcoin and altcoin to manage the risk factor. Many have already opt out of this market but I still believe crypto currency has lot to offer to there customer.Hold your stake and you will not regret doing that.
I agreed to what you said because some cryptonier usually opt out when the market is in dump mode and my thinkibg is that maybe they think it the doomsday for cryptocurrency or maybe they think it will never rise again because it seems they dont understand how cryptocurrency market works and what to do in terms of bearish market which litterally open windows for max. profit. However, diversational are the best

With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?
If you ask my advice than I would opt out for Bitcoin and in for altcoin as alts are performing really well in the market.Alt coins like EOS and Ethereum are market toppers and have great credibility too.

Yes, some altcoin are doing well right now but if I were you I will definitely buy in for bitcoin and some altcoin because when the bitcoin market is like how is now, it usually come back so strong to the extent of reaching another all time high price.

If you had decided to get out from trading by small negative fluctuations. It is no use.If all the people try to do that.No one will be live in this trading and Bitcoin price reduce to 0$.Due to holding of bitcoin like this condition, many had become millionaire and billionaire last year.

Now is the right time to invest a huge amount because the market price is decreasing and you should not feel any pressure because the market will soon go back to its normal price after a few months.

if I never thought of going out, whatever that would be, except with an urgent need that had no choice but to sell the bitcoin or altcoin I had, to force me to sell and get out of the market, and even though the price dropped as it did at this time, it will not stop me or come out of crypto, I will continue to invest and trade to be able to realize my ideals.

market is crashing but not to worry because it is not the final fall that will happen and never get recovered. It will soon be recovering and rising above 10k. So an time to invest in the down market to get the good gains in coming months only. Do not do panic selling as it can worsen the market situation.
Nothing to worry at all and I have not even considered this as a crash yet until I start seeing some pretty crazy volume to the downside going as low as it can get towards $3000. However, what is necessary is to keep believing in the recovery, because no matter what, the recovery of this market is always going to come in an astonishing way that a lot of things are changing, institutions are looking for the best price, and I am looking forward to that huge volume that would be kicking into this market when that time comes.

I think if you have enough capital you should buy for now because almost all the coins are down the price or the market is red.

This is just the thing, I have done yesterday, that I have taken my all money that I  have, and put it all into top 10 cryptocurrencies, while they are so cheap still.

I have seen various predictions about price fall but I don’t know if they are actually right about the price. Last month I once saw someone that claimed that the price will be going down to $2000 from June. The confusion I’m having right now is that someone also mentioned that the price will go up to around $15000 this June. This is the reasons why I don’t rely on these technical analysts, they are fond of confusing people, but that’s sometimes.

Pal. I think we got chances to fall even lower. In my opinion, buying BTC for 6000-6200$ would be s better idea. We got all the chances to see this price at the moment. Although buying for 6700$ is also a good idea. Anyway, we got so many ups and downs ahead. There's never a right price to buy or sell. We actually do not know for sure when the price stops dumping and start growing.

I already have a feeling that I'll regret not taking chance and buying BTC and few alts at this time. In few years when they skyrocket I'll be pissed for not a risking.

in this market when you are in doubt the best course of action is to simply stay away from it. just keep holding your fiat (USD,...) until your doubts are lifted or at least reduced to a level when you can feel confident enough to buy back in.
this may mean losing some opportunities such as buying the very bottom but it is always best to be safe than sorry.
Yes. However, when it comes to targeting the very bottom, it is not something I always prefer chasing or I believe anyone should be chasing at all and that would make it look more like one is trying to gamble.

Most times, it is even better to learn trading of trends even in long term to be able to make good decisions in the market and at least buy in a position where you are sure the trend is changing and the possibility of getting something good is great. Like you said, when there is uncertainty in a market, best is to stay away and see how events unfold.

Best choice? if you can't really take the market fall down for 10% to 15% then sell your coins for fiat if that is what brings your mind in peace and rethink if you want to continue to crypto or not, you've entered cryptocurrency knowing its major risks and downs you should be prepared for the upcoming bears and bulls run, Buy in if you are still believing it will make an increase in the latter part then hold if you can't buy.

Hold is better than selling, if didn't believe on what the power of crypto currency you should sell it to cut your losses. But if believe on what can you get from there you should buy now and this is a chance to get in a cheap price.

for me buying on this situation is a good idea pal, because actually the market always recover after the manipulation, so instead of worrying the current situation., we should buy more because this is a big opportunity as well to gain more profits in the future, and perhaps it will never go further now because the value is already on the bottom price which i have doubts it will recover soon.

If you're long term hodler dont bother in what you see currently continue to hold and let this bear market pass, remember the prices are volatile it can runs up and down hence its normal if we are experiencing dips at the moment.

If I have money to buy additional coins I wont hesitate to do it since this is an opportunity to gain huge profit when the time comes the market recover and the coins are back on track again.

Don't jump the gun just yet mate. First off, take a look how long the dip has been running, if it has a sustained phase over the last few weeks or even months, that's usually a sign that it can go lower or it may start to catch fire to increase again, therefore, the better move here is you should be in the middle, try to get it in a value that would not hurt you too much, but just right to get you enough assets so you can either use it in investment or trade aggressively, or if you plan to hold on to it, you can get a considerable amount of profit.

You can wait for 1 day if you don't find the price spike and dump then you could consider this the least value you can see on bitcoin price chart. With in some months we will be find the bitcoin price go bigger in the market.

Please go to buy the cheap altcoins which has the potential to grow in the market.
Hope we will be able to make more profit via crypto investment.

Why would opt out? If you are a trader you would really see this as an opportunity to buy back cheap coins in the market but well i cant blame people if they would really have hesitance on mind when deciding on doing such thing. Its your choice as an investor if you can able to risk it out to invest even more or decide to set aside yourself into this falling market. We do have different views and decisions in life as long you do know on whats good for you then its your choice.

This market is nauseating to be sure, but I think we'll rebound eventually.  IF I had money to spend on crypto, which I don't, I'd be buying right now.  I think bitcoin has fallen far enough that it's a good buy.  The problem with most people is that they don't see something that's on sale--they see something they think is going to keep dropping.  And bitcoin certainly could, but there are enough people who support it that it's not likely that's going to happen for long.

How long it's going to take for a recovery is anyone's guess, but I say buy it while it's cheap.
I agree with you, Its good time to buy some (because i'm one of the beliver for bitcoin).
This market been fallin like this because there is a lot of fomo happening before, and this people was buying without knowing what Bitcoin really are and its potential.
And also BTC expensive transfer fee and lack of use case like an online store that accept BTC right now. This also the reason of price going down.

But still its the best time to buy some

It's high time to observe I think instead of buying or opting out. Market is crashing day by day. Now, price of coins looks so attractive to buy. Yet, waiting for a few days and observing the market thoroughly would be better. If bitcoin price fall to 5k or around, then it would a great time to buy for locking profit in future.

If you are going to invest for long term, much better to enter the market at around $6500-$6700. However, its also ripe to do daily trading, as we might see a recovery for above $500. However, it really saddened to see the price goes down again, I'm travelling in the last 4 of days and I'm surprised to see it < $7K. But I'm not losing hope, I still believed that this is not yet over and a break out run for happen anytime soon.

I also think it will fall again but that will happen after bitcoin rises from $6000 so we will not see $5000 or such dips, it is very good price for buying to me.

at this point doing nothing is the best strategy if you ask me.
however, you can always place some buy orders ahead of time at price levels that you think can be hit and at least a couple of very lowball buy orders. for example you can assume $6500 is the bottom so you place the bulk of your orders there and then place some around $6000 and one at $5500 as the lowball.

With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?

The moment we bought bitcoin, we must understand the risks obviously, therefore it's like gambling but on much better view since the risks in buying bitcoin is worth a shot. Now that the price is drastically falling down, why we should dump in the first place? To minimize the loss? Just think of it, people want minimize the loss then used that amount to purchase again another rounds if ever the price will goes down. Again "if ever", what if price increase later on? It's difficult to accumulate especially for the average bitcoiner. The buying rate on some of the exchanges is way too much. So if already have some bitcoins on hand, then as much possible hodl it while at the same time increasing the quantity of it if possible.

If the goal is just to hodl then disregard any price movement. If you have guts then just move forward even seeing your bitcoin value drastically falling down. Challenge it as you have thousands of reasons why you should do hodl.

For me, it seems that we needed to assess much deeper, the market movement is really hard to predict, for sure there's some reason behind this fall and making a decision to our next move might need deeper study, lets put it this way, another exchange was hacked and for some reason the timing of the downfall really hits the dip value of crypto, I guess its not the final blow for dumping those coins which already enjoyed by those hackers who did this hacks, then again same pattern last year and the value went up without our notice.

Option 3)  wait it out.

It's easy to get caught up in all the people making a big deal out of nothing,  but take a step back and wait.    If the market drops more,  then buy.   I'm really waiting to see if we tank further.    If the market rises,  then awesome we are seeing some green.    No biggie either way!

No doubt in my mind, this is definitively the best time to enter crypto if you didn't already.
BTC is down to 6700$ and maybe it'll go as low as $5k as some say it will, but after that the bull run is expected. It's all risky but I firmly believe that $20k will happen again in the near future. It all depends on how much money do you have at your disposal to invest.

would you buy in or opt out?
I guess I will opt out for now because of my analysis and from it, I speculate that bitcoin will reach 3580-4000 USD price range(and will only buy when it reaches this point) and it will be its new floor price. My analysis was based on the saying that "history will repeat itself" and from thinking that way, I calculated the percent of loss bitcoin suffered from the last dump after Mt. Gox incident. Either way, if it doesn't happen it is still a win-win for me because I already hold some bitcoin in my wallet.

The price is crashed to new low value.Don't get panic for the fluctuation, this is the time to get more bitcoin at low price. This is new opportunity for the new investor. When the price increase to 10,000$,just imagine how much dollars you will get.For a bitcoin you will get 3300$ profit alone.

The best question in my mind is, would you buy the dip or opt out because the market keeps getting down? Isn't it good to buy in because it is getting down and the best time is buy the dip? Simple analogy when you are in trading game. You don't opt out just because bitcoin is going down but it is an opportunity to buy more.

Before saying anything at the end of the day this is your decision and only you know your tolerance threshold, and obviously, I'm not a financial advisor, so decide on your own discretion.

As someone who's done lots of trading, I can go ahead and tell you that you are not going to buy at the bottom if that is your goal.  Even if bitcoin were to drop 15-20% after you purchased it I still think you would be more than safe at this point with some patience.  You didn't buy at the top.. you waited til there was blood in the streets.. and you even made it to capitulation before asking this question.. you are going to be a very good trader if ytou aren't one already.  If you are unsure what to do I would ladder into your position (nibble at first, big bites next, huge bites 3rd)  so you cost avg down if it drops.. and if it doesn't you can buy the breakout when you feel like its safe.  Even if you miss the bottom by 1500$ or more you could still scalp alts to make up the difference since no matter how bad BTC does.. alts will do worse (just make up the difference though, dont get too greedy). Bitcoin ETF murmurs are getting serious and I'm telling you 25-40k seems possible even still this year.. and its even more exciting even with the dip because we're breaking down out of this boring symmetrical triangle pattern and can form something new and exciting.  I personally think we could see one or two more drops still, but I'm already layering in some longs with tight stop losses just to be aggressive. I think you'll know for sure when the bottom has been found because the volume should be noticeable and not just on the sellside action.

Good luck, hopefully we can go permalong after this for a while. Cheesy

in this market when you are in doubt the best course of action is to simply stay away from it. just keep holding your fiat (USD,...) until your doubts are lifted or at least reduced to a level when you can feel confident enough to buy back in.
this may mean losing some opportunities such as buying the very bottom but it is always best to be safe than sorry.

Absolutely buy in, the reason behind the falling is clear, it's due to the exchanges being hacked, and bitcoin price will go up for long term, I don't see anything that can make me lose money if I buy bitcoin now, I just need to be patience and when the situation already heal up, the price will be going up again

Grin

With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?

market is crashing but not to worry because it is not the final fall that will happen and never get recovered. It will soon be recovering and rising above 10k. So an time to invest in the down market to get the good gains in coming months only. Do not do panic selling as it can worsen the market situation.
