I'm confused about the pumping and rising the the LTC i've been trading LTC to BTC and my waiting interval is 1-2 hours and the profit is just a small as my investment but sometimes i can make some big money too we just have to monitor the price and watch the news that's all
buy litecoin now and then use litecoin to invest in the long period of time then surely the results obtained is much greater than is used only in the short term only.

If this were true you wouldn't be spreading the information as it would be self-fulfilling. LTC has major problems, the first and most important is ONE person owns 1/5 of all the nethash. Go look at the difficulty charts and watch how they "instamine". LTC was cool in 2012-2013. Why are you trying to get people to buy LTC when it's already peaked and heading downwards?

I think buying LTC now to avoid missing out, is not a good idea for me, because LTC price was stable. I don't know if in the future price of this coins were straighten growing up. However it's up to you beliefs because I'm not sure if my speculation in this coins is right.

What exactly is the benefit of litecoin? I still see it as just a weaker version of bitcoin. People keep saying it is cheap but all I see is the fact that its already had its major pump based solely on one dev joining them full time and segwit activation. What happens when bitcoin activates segwit, does litecoin die?

Since you are much experienced but still to say that it will reach 100$ with a big confidence is not fair because everything needed to grow only when they are with the better technology , better economical support and good response by the people to get interest in that .Here I myself made a decent amount of the profit from.the last.month but now I am thinking that it is not easy for the litecoin to jump with big level because reality behind this is that Thier are many altcoins which have technology equivalent to ltc , so I don't thin this will grow fast as another more famous altcoin .
But still I have just bought of value 0.04btc , because of the news of the owner to work with ltc with high concentration and leaved the job from the coinbase services .

IMHO, the managers of that currency waited too long to make some changes, it looks like things are going to change from now, in that case, it can go back to second place but for how long?

I also be thinking litecoin may be the next pumping coins as currently to me litecoin is under value. Ethereum, some months ago was were litecoin is today but we can all testified how Ethereum has become a very huge crytocurrency today. Litecoin provide now another opportunity to buy cheap.Can we consider LTC as future currency because i don't have any expectation on it because last time the price has changes only when the Segwit happened? that's a long way from now and the price rise due to LTC halving will only happen at least 3 months before the actual date which means if you want to make profit from that particular pump rise it is best to get in by that time and until then use your funds to trade and make profit elsewhere.
the current possible rise however is a different story.
I had set my eyes on litecoin for a long time, but the price movements is very slow and compared to other alt coins the movement a bit stagnant despite that there are big news about litecoin and how segwit is going to elevate the litecoin usage and position on market, I don't think we will see litecoin reach 100$

there is a lot of hype circling litecoin and a lot of developing power is being invested in it these days specially from bitcoin developers who are working on the same projects as LTC devs related to SegWit. and for that i can see a rise.
also i find the fact that price has stayed above 0.01BTC price after the dump as a very good sign that there is enough demand for accumulating LTC at this price range. by the time i am writing this price is 0.0108BTC.

LTC is taking advantage of bitcoins weakness and could become the new bitcoin but I also see risks involved especially if bitcoin comes to a scaling solution then ltc will be back to being the silver to bitcoin's gold.

Shit.. I go for a jog, come back and it's gone up $3 and made me $3000. That was fast. New all time high. Smooth sailing to $40+ The trend is your friend. 
Technically we did have a spike to above $38 back on May 10th so I suppose that's the level we test and try to break above.

These replies are kind of silly. The charts say this is going to at least test the all time high. The only way it doesn't is if the whole bubble bursts. I would be careful listening to advice on here, including from me. Nobody is right 100% of the time and a lot of people have an agenda. My advice.. buy when everybody hates it, sell when everyone loves it. I would not be buying ETC over LTC at this point. LTC was the second. It will get respect like bitcoin, especially with the recent developments with lightning network, segwit, etc.
There's a good chance this displaces ETC and NEM to take the number 4 spot in the next 7 days. (even though NEM is better :p) I don't know what ETC brings to the table to sport it's spot other than being a fork of ETH.

Every coin has their pattern, but buy now profit later? until when I must wait?. Your post is not complete, no more explaining about it. Depend my strategy is not that high, LTC is stable coin with little volume. Invest with LTC need long time period, huge money and big patience. I'm holding my litecoins, and when ever I have opportunity I'm buying more, I'm not sure that price can go so high until the end of the year, but for sure price will increase.

Ltc is a good and they have potential to increase in the future . So its better to buy litecoin now because I believe they will increase more before the end of this year 2017 . And everymonth many investor will invest to this coin so the price is continue increasing. Litecoin is of my favorife coin because I earn profit in this coin. More investor to come .
