I want to buy another btc now but I can't until someday next week because my other bank account is suspended for trying to buy 2btc.

How does your bank account get suspended for trying to buy 2btc? I assume you have to send money from your bank to an exchange before you can buy bitcoins. Was there a problem sending money to an exchange?

Holy shit, you actually took my bullshit post serious. What's is fucking wrong with you people. This forum is like cesspool of retards.
Whats with the insults? Calm the fuck down. If you looked back at my previous posts before I made this thread, I wanted to buy 2btc but my online banking got suspended. And with the price drop and increase I made this thread for different structural advice on bitcoins, not insults.

I BOUGHT 1BTC via Western Union (even though i said i wasn't going to lol), but i sent it to a mobile wallet so it is quicker than the bloody cash pick up  and the payment wasn't declined this time Grin I bought it for £330 ($549). now i'm thinking if i should buy another btc? (i've currently got 1.66btc in my wallet)  Cheesy

No one can answer that but yourself. If you're thinking long term, then I can surely say that prices in the future in terms of years will be much, much higher than today

Buy now.  Wait a year or 2.  2014 may end with a negative return for Bitcoin in terms of price but adoption is increasing each day.  And that is what really matters.  Price will come later.

The price is pushing pretty hard on that $495 resistance and it's holding pretty well. We may have one more crash, but the market seems to be preparing for a rally.

EDIT: We broke $495. I'll be curious to see if the price can hold at that level.

It might fluctuate here and there now and then, but it's gradually rising. actual production cost its about $550 per bitcoin, so anything below $500, it's an automatic bargain

Ok guys, I've decided to buy now! But I've got a problem. I need to  buy a btc-e code because I can't use online banking yet because my online banking was suspended. I don't want to use Western Union because they'll probably reject my payment for no reason like last time. I'm waiting for a response from kingscrown for a btc-e code but he's currently offline. Is there anyone else selling btc-e codes?

Satoshi Nakamoto said on Feb. 21, 2010 and I quote:

"In the absence of a market to establish the price (of bitcoin, estimates) based on production cost is a good guess and a helpful service (thanks). The price of any commodity tends to gravitate toward the production cost. If the price is below cost, then production slows down. If the price is above cost, profit can be made by generating and selling more."

the current levels are still undervalue for the actual production cost of bitcoin, so definitely it's a better time to buy at these levels.

Did he really wrote this? There is no way to 'generate more coins' - the algorithm adjusts the difficulty so that on average it is always the same amount produced in a given time span.

Should i buy now or not? is this a trap?  Grin

Considering that Coinbase has already announced they will be buying up a shit ton of BTC this Friday, if you have the funds available now I would start buying as most likely the price will be going up!

Its simple...if you're scared of breaking a nail or getting a broken nose don't get into a fight. If you're scared of losing a few hundred or a few thousand dollars or can't withstand those losses you have no business playing with bitcoin. This is not a game for those with weak stomachs, wallets and constitution...bitcoin is for those who can pick themselves up after getting knocked down and shake it off. If you are long on bitcoin and won't vomit if you get punched in the stomach then you have a chance. If you need to have you hands held while you dip your manicured toes in the water then this is not the place you should be. I am being serious when I say stay away from this game if you are barely surviving month  to month.

I've been playing this game for a long while now and have been through organ shattering crashes and blood hemorrhaging manipulations and I love every minute of it because I'm a masochist Grin and I'm confident in bitcoin's fundamentals. It also helps that its been a very profitable sport for me (Aside from my regular income).

If you can't hang with the big dogs, stay on the porch...and this is friendly advice.

averaging down is a good strategy in a bull market. i'd say it was a good idea in the initial correction to the late 2013 bubble, because of the long term bull trend. but an 8 month bear market throws that assumption into jeopardy. best to wait for clarity IMO.

if its a trap... at least you'll be traped with an asset that is:

1. Scarce
2. Durable
3. Portable
4. Divisible
5. Impossible to counterfeit
7. Fungible ( any 1 BTC has the same value as any other )
8. Easy to keep safe ( contrary to popular belief, it easy to print out a paper wallet...)
9. Shiny ( yes the digital bits that make up a bitcoin are VERY shiny)
10. all of the above. + very shiny

 Cheesy

Ok...but what if this scarce, durable, portable, divisible, impossible to counterfeit, fungible, easy to keep safe, and shiny asset looses 100% of its value?

The you have a scarce, durable, portable, divisible, impossible to counterfeit, fungible, easy to keep safe, and shiny asset that is worthless.

My point? Your point is pointless.

I've decided to buy 2 btc but i want to buy at $460. Will it drop down to $460?
Do you intend to hold for long term? If yes, what is your long term price outlook? Would it make a difference if you bought at $480 instead of $460?

the difference is a handful of bit cents, that's what! hey, if bitcorn really goes to a million+, then a bit cent will be quite the pretty penny, eh? just sayin! Smiley

depends what you are looking for -- long term? short term? and how much do you care about your entry point as long as you are getting good return? if you are trying to maximize risk/reward, i'd wait.
I want long term or when the price goes above $1000, whichever comes sooner
