Hello guys,
I'm a totally newbie here as well as crypto markets. My friend introduces me a platform where users can trade crypto with stocks. I find it quite interesting and reliable thanks to the digital IPO service.
Can you guys give me any advice?
if you want to accept suggestions from other people then you have to explain what the name of the platform you are using, I only found the DX Exchange platform, this platform is powered by Nasdaq which was released at the beginning of 2019, is this platform what you mean?
My bad. And I do not know whether I can post the link here or not. Its name is LiveTrade, a global exchange.

Welcome to the crypto community and this forum.

The one you are looking at depends on your country, that kind of service may be available to some but not to most.
Can you explain more or give me some examples about that?

I knew a plattform called 1Broker back then where you could buy stocks etc with BTC. As far as I know they stopped their services, so if you know a successor please share the website!
Yeah, my bad when I forgot to list the link here. https://www.livetrade.io/

This probably a new idea for cryptocurrency. A combination of world stocks and bitcoin. But the question in here is can a broker list a cryptocurrency?

I think IPO is much better than ICO, not sure about that. What do you think?
They share the same idea but IPO is more regulated.

Maybe because I think IPO is much better than ICO, not sure about that. What do you think?

Both are distinctly different but if I'll base it on the credibility, yeah IPO is definitely better assuming that you invested on the real deal. Well, only established companies can hold an IPO and cryptocoins are not a popular payment method for it, pretty sure there would be news if one does hold an IPO especially if it does accept cryptocurrencies.

Wat platform is this? What do you mean by digital IPO service? afaik it's just buying shares of a certain company which offered it, so you can only buy "their shares".

Is this friend a close friend of yours IRL or just someone you met online?
She is my real friend. Maybe because I think IPO is much better than ICO, not sure about that. What do you think?

I've got to read this today itself and thought to share it here. Nice info there about what OP is trying to convey. I would really want to trade such big stocks using a crypto platform and I also want to trade them under leveraged conditions as it will have a very high risk:reward ratio.

Note: This app is specifically for users who don't belong to US and Canada.

i have only seen one place that used to offer such a service which allowed users to trade stocks with bitcoin but it failed at some point in the past because it didn't gain enough attention. basically people who own bitcoin and have an interest in trading (want to take the risks) will usually trade altcoins since their pump and dumps can help them increase their bitcoin a lot faster than trading stocks.

This is a great idea, why don't we do this? I believe that there will be someone who provides some services to help investors exchange Cryptocurrency with stocks. And I think that I will be one of the first to want to experience this.

AFAIK I have not heard of anything through which we can buy stocks/shares of a company through cryptocurrencies.
Buying shares itself involves so many legal compliance to be followed, I wonder why would crypto be used for shares.
Although it is far from happening, I really wish it would happen since it would be much more easier to buy shares through crypto.
Also it can lead to buying international shares without actually opening an international demat account.

Also be careful with anything that tells you to lend your coins in exchange for returns over your investment, especially if they are big. Here it's common, really common in fact that some people will try anything for others to give them their coins and that's it, you lose them.

It's better that you learn to trade if that's what you want to do, with a small amount. Or Hold, it is a much better option, especially when you're a Newbie.

Some people enjoy trading but i personally don't like it.

I believe you are talking about Btcpop. Co!! Am I right?

The stocks listed in this platform, is nowhere else to be found. That means you will not know if the company really exists or not! In simple word, we call them "pink shits" and not recommended at all,

If the platform you are talking about is different than btcpop, please share the non-ref link!
