You're looking to buy 1000 bitcoins... On a forum... For $7 million+.

Honestly, why don't you just use an exchange? You're willing to pay 1% when most exchanges would charge <0.25%. If you're not willing to give an exchange proper KYC documents why would you be okay with giving it to some random on the internet? Also, most people would want to charge a much higher fee for a (somewhat) anonymous buyer. It doesn't make sense.

You have 0 rep here, and you say you have an escrow that you would like to use. Who exactly is the escrow? If it's not someone known around here we'll have to assume it's either you or a friend of yours.

Sending in small batches means nothing when a small batch is 100 Bitcoins.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Always stay skeptical with your digital cash people. Cheesy

Maybe you should meet up with this guy: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/340000-btc-for-sale-11-gross-institution-coin-holdercan-do-proof-of-coin-4311387

If you were familiar with bigger OTC transactions you would know that most sellers are willing to offer a discount for that big of an amount. So if you take that in account as well as slippage on most exchanges it actually make sense for both parties to agree on a price based on the spot on a arbitrary exchange at a given time. I understand that there is a lot of scammers hanging out here but the process I described above is as transparent as it can be. If you would like to know more feel free to send me an email [email protected]

I'm very familiar with OTC trades and if also very familiar with people who avoid exchanges and why. If we're talking about an obscene amount of bitcoins, it's an (attempted, but never successful) scam 95%± of the time.

Pardon me if I just assume it's a scam and it works out. This just isn't the place to buy $7MM of Bitcoins, and if you read the forum history you would know that.

Thanks for the response I appreciate it. I just wanted to taste the water in here and see if I could get connected to a serious seller. And you are absolutely right most people that contacted me are absolute scams. But in case you know of anyone please connect with me. We are based in US and are 100% serious. We’d love to pay for a referral as well. [email protected]

Why not just go to Bitcoin meetups in the USA and meet people face to face? I have met some of the most interesting people to trade with at these meetups. I have also built up a very good trust relationship with them and they introduced me to some of the early bitcoiners with a lot of coins.

As you said, when you buy in bulk, some of these people are willing to go beneath the going rate of open markets & exchanges and you do not have to deal with fees. Hope you can navigate through the minefield of scammers around here.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for the response man, that is a great idea! I would love to connect with you if you have time, as I mentioned earlier - would love to pay for a referral! Message me on the forum or by email at [email protected] Smiley

Looking to buy big amounts of BTC.

Send an email to [email protected] for more info.

Serious inquiries only.

Here is how to process is going to work:

- Contact me via email and provide POC
- KYC as required by the seller
- LOI will be provided and contracts will be signed by all the involved parties
- Coins will be moved in trenches and utilizing an escrow service. We have one of our choosing but we are willing to work with the seller. Fees around 1%
- Funds will be released accordingly

If you don't provide POC by email I will not answer.

Why do we need an escrow at all if you ask poc before kyc? Escrow also allows to find consensus proving funds and coins if both parties don't trust each other.
Is it really necessary to poc first? And then you will charge 19% discount and send btc first ultimatum after all. Love that time wasting Smiley
The problem is most of suppliers won't even listen to "how much for 1000btc" thousands times a day and getting silence as a respond. LOI perfectly describes itself. It looks like you are saying "psss, show me some, and i promise i will buy it and give all the sh** you want, just show me" Smiley

POC is so I don’t waste my time with scammers. I agree that if buyer and seller trust each other then escrow is not necessary but usually one party requires it at least for the first transaction. Anyway, if you are interested and you can provide me POC I can send you a LOI.

A signed message with today's date from your address will do it for the initial verification. We will also ask you to send 547sats (min amount to process the transaction - 0.04 USD) to an address of our choosing once you can provide the signed message.

Thank you
