Transfer money from your bank to an exchange like Coinbase.  It takes 4-5 days for your funds to show up in Coinbase.  Then you can buy btc.

I think its good that credit cards cannot be used. The safest and most legal way to buy bitcoins would be to open account with a crypto Exchange that is LEGAL in your country and then buy on that Exchange. If you buy in any other way, there is always a risk of running into regulatory issues later

HOW the hell am i supposed to buy bit coins now when the stupid banks have disabled credit cards?
You can use other banks or other forms of payment.
Remember bitcoin is global, no bank, no goverment can block it.

I know that a few local Russian exchanges allow to buy / sell crypto currencies with credit cards.

If that is the case then maybe OP can consider applying credit cards to other banks. But prior to that, do research if that bank allows it.

Not all banks are restricting the used of credit card when purchasing bitcoin to an exchange. And as far as my own knowledge concerned, only credit cards are not allowed but people can used their debit card of the same bank.

Time for OP now to search for other ways. It's fine to asked for suggestions by others but rather than complaining here you should do your assignment instead.

Is debit card not an option either? As another post said, you can try a p2p service such as localbitcoins or wallofcoins. Additionally, you can try purchasing via a Bitcoin Atm--just be aware of the fees before you purchase. Check to see if there is one near you through this site: https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin-atm-near-me/

You can buy Bitcoin yourself, there is no bank available in the market from which you can purchase Bitcoin. Buying of Bitcoin is not a difficult task but it rates differ. You may loss your investment if its rates changes adrouptly. Selling and conversion into money is difficult.

Bankers never make decisions on their own. They always follow the government's instructions clearly. I didn't fully understand what caused your anger. If the banks do not personally service your Bank cards then you are to blame. If the banks of your country do not make payments for the purchase of cryptocurrencies then you are to blame because you have chosen a government that gives banks such instructions. Grin

i think someones missing the point here, I have a wallet with bitcoins in and i use a credit card to buy them, I can no longer buy any more bitcoins as the banks have disabled credit cards.

You can't find another solution to that? Do it with localbitcoins, if you have the money there is nothing could stop you from doing that. How about you buy something pricey using your credit card and sell it and use the money to buy BTC from someone. Its not the ideal way but sure its one that you can do. Forget buying crypto using your credit card.

i don't think you are really getting it.

Big bang entry.  With the words "hell" and "stupid" for banks.   Grin  Very aggressive tone.  Dear if the Banks have disabled buying crypto using their accounts; then what you or I can do?
These may be the  orders of the Government which banks can not refuse to accept.
Nothing is done without the self interest.  And if the Government see that that their wealth is going out of the country so they take this action.  When the circumstances will change and if inflow starts then definitely they will have  to open the gates.  At least they will accept equal balanced exchange of money.

If the issue just relates to Bank's credit cards; then their are other sources available i.e. Bank account; debit card etc.  Use it.
