I think the price will not deceive the quality, so I think the graphics card suitable for mining is AMD or NVIDIA.

Do not forget the extra flag to maximize the performance of your graphics card. but you should pay attention to the type of graphics card you use.

If you will use your computer just to trade then it is good to assemble a computer but if you will like to build a computer to mine, I think it is hard to make a computer for mining. Unless, you have knowledge in making GPU.

I'm interested in building a computer (cheapest parts) that will be the cheapest for mining (not it's solo purpose). I would also be using this as a regular computer, but would like it to be expandible in the near future (expand number of gpu cards). Any suggestions on what graphics cards will go with a good motherboard for the cheapest price? Smiley
If you want to mine bitcoin certainly requires a sophisticated computer because you will be competing with the other computers in the same mine bitcoin as well.
the suggestions I've made more than one computer, the result is very little

I just want to buy a new computer set to build my knowledge about to trade.. And to have more ideas on how to become a genuis trader, so that I can do it from my own strategy.

If you want the cheapest you can buy the gtx1050ti. It costs around like $150. I highly suggest better not mine if you just have 1 gpu to do it. You'll just waste time and money and its not profitable. If you want to see any profits go for 1 gtx1080ti but this costs around $800 and still it will take you like 6 months ROI. Its really up to you though if your just experimenting on mining or just wanna experience mining using your computer at home.

Here's a link that will help you on your venture in gpu mining, hope this can help you out.

you are in the bitcoin subforum, so i'll give a bitcoin answer: there is no pc you can ever build that will mine bitcoin profitably. Even worse, even the best GPU with free power will make about ~20 cents a year at current diff, block reward and btc price. Since such a GPU costs ~$350, it'll take you (on average) 1750 years before you mined enough BTC to pay back your initial investment IF you got your power for free, IF the diff didn't rise, IF the block halvings were removed with a hardfork and IF the price didn't drop.

Here's an auto-updated list of some non specialised mining hardware, it's hashrate, it's power consumption and it's revenue @ certain fixed power prices: https://www.mocacinno.com/nonspecialisedmininghardware.php

Bottom line:
- you can't mine BTC profitably with a cpu (any cpu)
- you can't mine BTC profitably with a GPU (any gpu)
- you can't mine BTC profitably with a cellphone (not with it's cpu, not with it's gpu)
- you can't mine BTC profitably with a botnet (a botnet with 1000 PC's with an i7 will make you less than $10 a year if you run them at 100% load 24/7 for a full year)
- you can't mine BTC with a supercomputer (since a supercomputer is basically just a collection of hundreds of 'nodes', which are basically small, stipped servers)

You might want to consider getting 2 setups.
One to mine and another for personal use.

Mining rigs consume most of the system resources.
You wont be able to do both at the same time.

Safe to say with the current GPU market, this will be your most expensive part.
Getting multiple of the same GPU has been a challenge.

i think it is not such a good idea to want to build a PC and then expand it to a full mining thing while using it for regular things. of course you can build a big gaming system which you also use to mine with but if you are looking for profit it is best to build a proper mining rig and then expand that. a mining rig is basically a motherboard with multiple GPU slots and raisers to connect them to the MB. then you can always add more to that. start with 2 for example and finally add 4 more to have a total of 6 ones. visit the altcion mining board for more information.

Can you guys name some motherboards perfect for mining which we can set up with multiple GPUs in it?
I have been talking with someone about me partnering with him in mining, We will be spending more if we make some mistake in setting up the project which is why we are also building it from scratch.

Well if you planing to have only one "normal PC" then simple recommendation is don't. These days mining is so power consuming that it won't be giving you much return as compared to your electricity cost. You should know traditional CPUs are no match to current hash rate and fully utilized GPU are best as compared to CPU. So if you still planning consider to have least one graphic card for example Nvidia P106-100 or any other GPU Card. It should be low power consuming. Such card might have price range from $300-$500.

Again don't even try to use a normal PC with no graphic card, you won't be getting any thing but paying for more electricity.

Last but not the least try to mine the coins with less hash rates (low difficulty), don't try Ethereum mining on your normal PC (yeah unless you're doing it just for experiment yes you cant try even on your laptop but of course you won't be getting any ETH but will be able to see what is going on).

Try Dinastycoin (DCY), Karbowanec (KRB), Sumokoin(SUMO), Datacoin these are just examples which I found after some googling for you. You have to mix & match to get the best results.

Please must google before you jump in and go through websites like https://www.cryptocoinsinfo.com/, https://prohashing.com/

Use this calculator to compute your hash rate vs power consumption https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator

Good luck.

Note: This post should be in mining section.

Building your own computer means you have chances to have more specific needs, means building your own perfect computer. If you're on mining, you can pick a motherboard that has a lot of slot for GPU and then skip hyper-threaded CPU then put more money in a better video card.

You only need to use the high quality ones so that there would be no problem in the future of your business.
