I get BTC for under 10% all the time.

Where?

From other members here on this forum.

I sold bitcoins to xetsr at 5% over market.  Typically you're going to have to offer some sort of incentive for people to take paypal though.  I don't like to keep a lot of money in paypal (I don't trust them) and if I want to buy something with paypal, I can just use my credit card, so there's not much reason to trade at market rate unless I have some extra bitcoins I want to cash out.

Actually, PayPal has been seeming to side with sellers more often as of late. Been watching the forums of LocalBitcoins and many people have been saying they were surprised at disputes starting to swing their way. Guess PayPal may be finally getting their head out of their ass and actually looking at the pattern and frequency of the transactions. A lot of people have been getting decisions because PayPal was unable to come up with proof that the transactions were fraudulent. Hate to start thinking positively about PayPal, but maybe things will start to change and scammers will have a tougher time. I can only hope.

Happy Trading

so you are paying 20% above the current price which can confirum you are just another scammer

Not true! >20% is normal for pp transactions.

Check localbitcoins and you'll see that even reputable buyers with high feedback have to pay that if they want to use gaypal.

That's the price of the high risk.

I get BTC for under 10% all the time. Not idea why anyone reputable would pay 20 - 30% over spot unless they're doing something shady or in desperate need of smaller BTC amounts.

Whenever the funds on pp come from a creditcard, pp lets a reversal be done, even if they know its a scam.

Im in need of Bitcoin I will send as Family and Friends (GIFT) First and then you send Bitcoins.

I will pay 20% Looking for about $300 worth but will do small transactions first

And you can still issue a chargeback in the next 180 days.

It's still a good deal if ou can cash out and dump the pp account.

I would never release the escrow before the funds hit my bank account.

I'm glad you got your funds back Cool. Don't know why scammers try and scam against Paypal transfer....

Why not? They cash out right away and ditch the account. You're probably thinking, oh well no damage done since it's coming out of paypal's pocket but once in awhile they will get someone who can't chargeback or loses the dispute because of the digital goods policy. It happens.

As far as I know Paypal takes the side of the buyer 99% of the time but I'm no expert.

I suppose making a charge back could not work on certain occasions.

For small amount of less than $7 they give it back within 24 hours, for the one with abcdpandabear. But this amount was $150 so it took 72 hours. It also matters if they notice if the account is an old account or one just a few days old so they know they will not have a chance to recover their funds because it was a dump and run j0b.

That's interesting thanks for sharing Smiley. Really glad you got your funds back I hate scammers.

Why are these newbie so crazy these days  Roll Eyes

I got scammed by one using the same tactic in asking me in sending first of half a payment. Never sent bitcoins but claimed they did.
Awaiting my chargeback cause I did it that instant, did not wait for them to screw around and delay so they will get rushed by paypal, not me. Their account will be locked so they can't do that to anyone again and I get my funds back.  Cool
