Noone can sign and verify this address as it was my havelock investments wallet.. I just checked and the website has been taken down so im assuming the company might have gone under. But I do still have ownership of the wallet 13uAZdE6Ubqcqznro1cQqozj1ggtFibixU and others on there that the havelock wallet address mentioned, has made many transactions with from 2014 and 2015 on the blockchain.
Will send the message anyway and see how it goes. Would be good to have my old account back one day, im not in any rush

Account spartan82 most likely changed ownership on November 6, 2017 (see Seclog) and was banned on December 26, 2018 (see BPIP).

November 08, 2017, 08:03:05 PM - u=106038 - spartan82 - password changed
November 06, 2017, 08:31:36 AM - u=106038 - spartan82 - woke up

The original account holder lived in Australia and often used Bitcoin address 1GMArUyd34aqU5HnyDKFFaQgNtkvqCMRQV.

If the reason of the ban had place after November 2017 and also if it will be confirmed that the change of ownership was made before November 2017, then in my opinion would be fair to unban account spartan82 and return it to the real owner.

I havent had access to this account since 2016 unfortunately and i dont remember having any secret answer or anything of the sort. I have access to the email used to register the account and can verify nearly all transactions/addresses pre 2015

I just want to make sure that noone but me can use that account to post anything further etc.
As the account is banned no one would be able to post through it, however the previous holder of the account who is in control of the valid login details would be able to; access the account on a read only basis, including posts and private messages, and recently there have been cases of this means being used to scam people (users claiming ownership of banned accounts as they can read the messages sent to it).

If you had secret question enabled, you can use that means to lock the account by attempting to recover the password through it. This should prevent any access.

Can you sign a message from another verifiable address? If you can, PM theymos or cyrus with it and they may return it to you. It could be unbanned if the ban was due to plagiarism whist it was under the ownership of the person who has it now.

Account spartan82 very likely was banned for plagiarism (forum rule #33) that took place in 2018, when this profile was controlled by another person.

Secret question is not a required feature and not everyone has it set up. When an accounts' details are changed, a mail is sent to the original email address to confirm this change or recover the password, this link expires after a couple of days so it's likely no good now.

Theymos hinted that it's possible to recover an account even without a signed message from a previously posted address, send a mail to the recovery address, preferably from the original email and provide as much information as possible. Good luck!

Like what was said by: @hilariousetc.

spartan82

Proverb says; 'has fallen' overwritten by a 'ladder'.

Has been banned, added the red trust of DT.

I think, OP, lock the topic, and start with a new life, your goal will be in vain will not work.
Now your account cannot be used anymore either by you or anyone else.

The process is quite long, if you still insist the account is recovered.

This is a lifetime ban? It won't run out anytime? I just want to make sure that noone but me can use that account to post anything further etc. I have an LBC account dating back to the end of 2012 with the same usermame and again its just sentimental to me thats all. If anyone wanted to question my charges im an open book, I've never done anything wrong by anyone all my life and this person that took my account has obviously ripped people off using my alias which is personal to me.

Currently, yes. I'm not sure what it was banned for though. Maybe someone else does. No person will be able to use the account unless the ban is lifted. Admins can over-turn it so maybe contact theymos and cyrus with the signed message and details and maybe they will remove the ban or at least return the account to you. Don't spam them about it though.

Spartan82, you cant receive msgs from newbies so im msging here instead. Im the original owner of this account.. would you be interested in selling it back to me? You have accumulated plenty of negative feedback now but it has SOME sentimental value to me. I went to jail for 3yrs and a bit and found that my password had been changed and it is now with a new owner. You lol so I would like to buy my account back off you, if you interested let me know.
I did try to msg Theymos to no avail, was willing to verify ownership of an old bitcoin address associated with this account that was used to purchase a bunch of direct AM shares from SebastianJu in 2013. 25BTC worth to be exact. I had the famous friedcat transfer these to my havelockinvestments account and ended up selling them for about 0.2BTC. So have mercy on me, I've had some ridiculous losses. I still have access to that havelock account too!

Not sure I would have told everyone you went to prison but I guess at least you're honest. That account is banned though so probably useless to you really. Not sure what it's banned for but it's probably out of action forever unless you can convince an admin to give you it back. Maybe theymos will see this thread and chime in but your chances of getting it back are slim, and it is currently unusbale unless it's unbanned, though I guess if you just wanted access to it it might be achievable.

Thankyou very very much for this link, I was looking for recoveries email and couldn't find it till now!

Im the original owner of this account.. would you be interested in selling it back to me?
Proving that will not be impossible and not finding an address does not mean that you will not recover it.
send email from the account's email address to [email protected] with a brief description and you may recover it.

If you do not sell that account to that person do not use incorrect ways to recover.

Honestly it's not for what its worth $$ wise because it is worthless in that sense. It is only worth something to me as it has sentimental value and it is my personal username. So if I could talk to the guy and we can work something out,  I'd like to have my name back lol

I suggest not to do it. That account will be worthless soon as more people will tag it. Move on and start a new life. Save your money for something else.
