So many identity documents and other obstacles are required in order to buy into bitcoin with usd or euro and if you make a mistake you get your money seized with no chance of a return. Are there any methods or ways around this?

That's for your safety account and to protect exchanger system. You should do it because today there's a lot of cyber crime, that's the risk and exchanger must doing something to face it. It's only identity document required, not your car or house. Maybe you can buy some btc from trusted friend, the will not ask you for identity just how much do you want for btc?. Simple method to buy btc and everyone can do it and good luck.

If you do decide to buy big amounts then you must really comply those requirements for you to able to buy bitcoins. The next thing is on my mind to avoid exposing your identity is peer2peer transactions online but i would say its very risky specially when we are talking big amounts already thats why its really always a good choice on buying on exchanges and the possible way is buy it on gradually not on bulks it wont surely over on the daily limit.

Have you ever tried Localbitcoins or BTC-e? The former requires a phone number, but when I created an account 3 years back, they didn't asked for any ID proof. BTC-e is even better. They just need an email ID. You don't need to submit any ID proof, and even phone number verification is not needed.

I feel your pain. I had to go through that with Coinbase. The alternative is to buy bitcoins directly from someone you know that can take your cash for them.

Well as the leading price in dollar I can say that that is just necessary to make that the bitcoin they'd be selling could still be accounted for and won't be lost over some offline wallet. Protocol because it is not easy too for them to just sell 1 Bitcoin without securing who you're dealer is. Plus this also makes bitcoin a legal trading. To avoid further violations.

I found no-other method currently.
It is time-consuming to get listed as tier-2 in one trading platform so it is not a good option. I would like to move a coin to other platform and ti may take 2-3 days to complete.
I am looking for other ways too if anyone has it,... I am so sorry that I dont have other ways around but I am curios for your thread discussion

LocalBitcoins is a good alternative in your case. It will allow you to buy Bitcoin with cash, but the main point is that you will need to go face to face, which understandably might not be your preference. If you are not comfortable with that, then there are various payment options that you can choose from depending on what the buyer/seller offers as option. Nowadays basically each exchange will force you to fully verify yourself due to all kinds of regulations.

Agree. There is no easy way to buy from scratch, and it is a problem for those who do not want to provide personal info. Perhaps a quite indirect method might be to buy gift cards (amazon etc.) and then exchange them for bitcoin in places that allow to do so... but again there is a fee.

Coinbase is probably the easiest way to buy, but their transaction fees are insanely high. That is one of the problems with bitcoin... a high barrier of entry. Bitcoin needs some low-cost easy to use wallet services.

this has nothing to do with buying bitcoin, it is the "Anti Money Laundering" or AML laws that these places you are trying to buy from has to follow in order to be able to function in a fiat world while using fiat! and it is not limited to bitcoin market, if for example you go and try to sign up on a Forex market and deposit fiat,... then you have to take all these steps there too.

this is one of the reasons bitcoin was invented. so that the customers don't have to give all these documents when they want to use their money (bitcoin).

You have to comply because the exchangers has also to comply with the law. KYC and AML are 2 of the regulators has put in place to prevent "illegal activities" regarding bitcoin. So if you really don't want to give up details about your self. Then look for localbitcoins that will let you buy bitcoin from them. Face to face is the safest method that the general bitcoin public used. You agree to meet in a public place then you pay fiat and they will send bitcoins to your wallet. I don't know about the fees though, I think you have to discussed this with the person before making the final offer to buy from him/her.

Look for someone who sells in local, by doing so you can meet up at any places, less hassle for any documents and more secure for your money.

It sounds like you can only buy locally with cash. Try out localbitcoins but be careful. I heard of some people getting busted by undercover cops trying to buy and sell btc. I forget the reason but it seems sketchy.

I call bullshit on this one. Unless you live in the future where the police people have the time to spend to bust bitcoin users, then this is outright bullshit. This is not some drug deal or anything. This is just some coin from the Internet.

Probably you got into bitcoins because someone told you about it. Then just buy from the guy that made you like bitcoins in the first place. If that's not an option for you, then look for Facebook Groups of bitcoin users in your country and then look for people that are selling bitcoins. Meetups are the best way to buy bitcoins since you don't really have to tell them your full name or where you came from. You also have the assurance that the bitcoin was already in your wallet before you pay. Since bitcoin payments aren't reversible, then you have the assurance that it doesn't have a "defect" or that you'd experience difficulties in the future for using the bitcoins that you just bought.

This is no problem for you if you are paying with cash in a face to face trade or if you make a cash deposit in places like localbitcoins, the problem starts if you want to pay for bitcoin if you want use paypal for the simple reason that is a method that is reversible and there are many scams going on, and even if you show all those documents there is chance many will not accept to sell you bitcoin because there are many chances those documents are counterfeited.

Unfortunately some exchanges like Coinbase require a lot of personal information to open an account. This can deter some people from getting into bitcoins. This is another reason why a bitcoin ETF would open up bitcoins to people that otherwise don't want to go through all the red tape.
so many other exchanges are there who do not require any personal information to buy bitcoin, so one can use such exchange who do not have these requirement for opening an account, i think the problem is that the price of bitcoin increasing so much and now it is becoming difficult for us to purchase a sing bitcoin and therefore we are going to do trading in satoshi only.

No the problem of buying bitcoins is actually big for people who want 0 risk which they normally trust PayPal for it but obviously if you buy using PayPal fees is 20% or something. Another way is buy using your credit or bank which again requires documents and moderate fees. The best way and only way is get the cash , go to local bitcoin and get with documents and low fees also
