you can always use this tutorial about a reliable, automated, big-company-backed way to buy bitcoin via paypal:

Tbf it isn't really spam, it's quite useful even if it does use referral links...

PayPal's user agreement says their payment network is not to be used for digital currency, so there is the risk that you could file a dispute with PayPal (or your credit card issuer if that is where the funds for PayPal originated) and get your money back.

If you check on the #bitcoin-otc marketplace you might find someone willing to trade.  The -otc marketplace's Web of Trust (WoT) can be used to see the trust history of the seller before you engage in a trade.  Here are some links:

Paypal tends to get reversed.  I'll do it if you're willing to wait 2 months for delivery :-P.

Guess no1 likes paypal here, I can see why, maybe some1 has a suggestion on how to make this safe, I really want to just buy these last few btcs and thats it. If its a trusted seller I would be willing to send the money first.

You'd have more luck with Dwolla.  You can also go through virwox.com, but you have to buy SLL then BTC if you must use Paypal.  Cash in the mail is another option.

I did use virwox, came on here as an alternative, so many fees on that site and it takes forever to process. I guess Il have to find another option if no1 is willing.

I have always made good on anonymous envelopes with small amounts of cash that show up in my mailbox with nothing but a bitcoin address.  I have a locked mailbox, and my mailing address is on my website.  I use the current rate as of the time of receipt.  Consider it an option if you get nowhere with PayPal.

Hey I am pretty much a newbie and wanted to buy btcs with paypal, have not had a good experience with virwox and have some money lying around in my paypal acct.
I want to purchase 15 btcs, I could do smaller amounts if needed. Unfortunately I have no way to prove my reputation as I am brand new to btcs. Maybe we can use escrow through this http://thrucoin.com/ or http://btcrow.com/ if you have any experience with escrow would be appreciated. Otherwise you can choose to just trust me.
