Coin is valued as much as seller and buyer agree on. IF price is to low, then dont sell. Monero actually hit highest price today $22.7. I actually agree with you that it is to cheap to sell. But then have no ideas why you are posting here.

I don't get it, you said if your friend used to trade with that account, why he gave his trade account to you then? (his balance (75 XMR) still in his wallet too).Why i assume if that's your friend money? because you are saying you don't know where and how to use monero (deposit and withdraw too).

Yes, this is the best way. You can easily sell those XMR in almost all exchange sites, like Poloniex, C-Cex, Bittrex.
If you still want to sell those coins on here, you must sell it under market value to attract pot buyer (Use escrow).
