This is almost impossible to do instantaneously with Bitcoin. The reason is that, while you'd think PayPal would want to embrace a new type of currency, it as actually seen as a PayPal's competitor and is not welcomed by the company. At all.

So, you've probably noticed that when searching on Google for "PayPal to BTC" you come up with nothing. No major companies can do it because PayPal would terminate their accounts, with all the cash on hand. And you want to be careful as well because if PayPal finds out the way you're transferring your cash, they may wish to terminate your account. That's what I found so scary about PayPal.

What I think you should do is just transfer your PayPal to a bank account (which is super easy to do, PayPal gives instructions on how to do so) and then just use a credit card or direct bank deposit on large, well-known BTC sites that allow purchases like Coinbase.

If you still want to use PayPal, try doing trades on localbitcoins, but this is so much harder because most people want direct verification and certain amounts. I recommend, as having done it multiple times, is exchanging BTC on this forum or perhaps Reddit.

It's up to you, but the process is made a lot harder by PayPal.

Hello, I'm new to the forum and would like to start investing in BTC.
I have a few dollars (~60USD) on Paypal that I would like to buy in BTC.
I created a wallet on Electrum (not sure if its the best, it was the most recommended one).
Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks thanks =)
To buy Bitcoin you need an exchange or someone who sells it to you. Maybe you will find an exchange that allows PayPal, but most prefer Credit cards or bank wire etc. You could try to find someone who will take Paypal, but most don't like it since charge backs are possible. You might end up paying a premium price. Usually a good idea is to try a local meet up where someone will surly trade with you.
