Hi to everyone.

Just want to ask, in the case i use my paypal balance, not a credit card or bank account, it still possible to claim chargeback ?

Yes it is still possible to charge back. You just need to say you never got the goods you bought or that your account got compromised.
There's no way to safely accept PayPal payments to sell BTC.

On a general basis i agree with your bold statement, BUT if you work a deal between 2 respected, mature, honest etc members of the forum you can certainly accept PP.

Not everyone working trades in the MP is a thief or scammer. Nor is everyone online who claims to be female actually a bald guy from Ohio.

Sometimes what you see is what you get, but in general there are certainly "better" ways to make safer & secure trades.

Yes, absolutely. I agree completely.
I just meant there's no way to make it impossible to charge back a transaction. That doesn't mean it will be. You need to trust the other person.

Yes aboslutly, it is all about building trust. certainly it may take some times. any way i agree that some preventions are required.

I dont understand how sending it as a gift wont stop a chargeback,

I sent PP as a gift and got screwed over (10 bucks big deal), when I went to do chargeback it wouldnt even let me.

Big red letters, cannot chargeback since payments was not for goods or services.

Either by charging back the credit card that was used or simply using / claiming a hacked account.

OP, since you're new you won't get any offers from trusted members. Only people who are willing to sell to new accounts are those trying to con you into sending first and will decline escrow using excuses like "if i don't send you the btc you can always chargeback".

If the money is in the credit card linked to the paypal account, you can contact the emmiter (or bank) of the card and "request" the annulment of the payment with an invented (but credible) reason.

Just open up a Circle.com account and get verified. Once you're set up, it's so much faster/safer/cheaper than PayPal for buying BTC.

Even if i send it like a gift ?
A second alternative will be to pay as for service, and confirm that within the email or so. i dont thnk that could be charbacked.

If it's a stolen PayPal account then it doesn't matter what you say in the email/message part, it's still not secure. In fact regardless of whether the account is stolen or not, it's still not a secure way for a bitcoin seller to accept fiat funds. You'll need to come up with another payment method.

unfortunately i only have paypal now ! so is there any solutions ?

Sending as gift won't insure against a chargeback later on.

Buying BTC with Paypal, 100 euros. escrow is a must.

Do you have another method of payment or only paypal? As KWH said, paypal is not very secure (for who will sell bitcoin).

Escrow won't help the seller in the least unless funds are held for 180 days or so. Paypal is just to risky.
