Oh wow haha. I have not seen anyone mention this gem for a very long time. I mean this half seriously, half sarcastically. Some months back, some supposedly very famous people talked about XEL, 100k satoshi minimum before 2017 end, high probability of 200k satoshi etc. They probably never saw Bitcoin breaking past $5,000 though! Anyway, I bought some, it still has not even recovered to half of the Bitcoin value I bought them at, but I actually think this is a very long term buy.

price is irrelevant, you should find good projects with low market cap. Actually when the project is good the market cap is irrelevant aswell as price

So my advice is, invest on good projects not on prices.

I don't think so, because we are already know mostly altcoins are pump and dump for short profit trading, so the price are very relevant. We have XRP and NXT which for now being pump much and price become rocketing. How long this will be stay last? very risky to invest it for long period. ADA and XML was attractive in market, almost some market showing big volume trading for these both coins, but i'm not sure this coins will survive when Bitcoin has back on the track.

I bought Sartcoin and Myriadcoin (XMY).

Both are still cheap and doing pretty good right now. I already made good profit from it. Think both coins will go higher. Don't know how much they can be worth in the upcoming months. But for now I will hold them for a while.

I bought a cheap coin last November for $0.0006 per coin and after 2 months it pumped as high as $1.50 per coin.
So I think this would be a lesson for some young investors that if you trust your instinct then go for it.
I trusted Oyster Pearl PRL last 2 months ago because I was impressed by their unique project and the developers and the community are amazing.

supply of a coin does not really matter, what matter the most is its real usage and usefullness to the economy or to the individual who bought it. i often see some coins that has a low supply but why they are stiil dump and seems stuck at their fix price? there were also some coins that has a bigger supply but they seem to be pumped more and qute indemand to the public.

@op should consider first the specifications and development or project of that coin before jumping in to avoid disapontment later on. gudluck...

Why huge supply? If you want to have a coin that is going to have exceptional gains then choose those that are cheaper with less supply. An example of that one is Embers which is only 50M total supply.

You might be invest on Cardano coins, price still below $1. It's increasing value was interesting to follow as it had been gained 4x times since last early Dec, 2017. Other option are buying XML, price still around $0.6 this coins was trading much in some exchanges market. XML has huge supply, Jed as dev belives this XML will boom in 2020.

Don't be too certain that doge coin has no future, and as I have been observing for the recent months people are actively buying doge. We can't predict at all time the future of any coin even how shit it is, because in alts everything is always possible due to its volatility. Being volatile doesn't mean a declining price always, but also it will surge in price which may take to the top rising value in the future. Same with those coins like dent that has billions of supply in the marketplace circulations.

Indeed you should check circulating supply as well. circulating supply x price = marketcap. Marketcap is the important thing. And if it is cheap and circulating supply is so high it means that it can be dumped easily after you buy

Infinite supply and under a cent price.

I prefer coins with limited supply and great teams behind. Like Golem and Substratum.
