In my opinion BTC ATM is one of the better options when it comes to anonymity. The whole process is quick and easy.

You do not understand what the op means by buying anonymously using VCC. The VCC is an acronym for virtual credit cards. A very common online generated card that can be used for payment online. Most merchants don't normally accept the VCC due to the issue of fraud and it is generally believed many of the sources of the vcc's are from the dark web except some few ones which are being issued by the merchants that provide a gift card. I have used vcc directly before but it belongs to a gift card company called tango card. Apart from some vcc that are stolen, many of the vcc from the gift cards have so many ways of redeeming them and most time they are convertible directly to crypto without need to look for any crypto exchange platform that accepts vcc. You can also google search for crypto exchange platform that accepts vcc but it is very unlikely you find many of them because many of high reputable ones do not accept credit card directly not to talk of vcc. I've bought a bitcoin voucher once with my phone's balance but their vouchers didn't last very long. I was only able to get them because their reseller is one of the biggest mobile network providers here in our country. Also expect the rates on vouchers to be worse than exchanges.

For example: Monero _ this is a completely anonymous currency. It is absolutely private, no one can see the amount of money traded between the parties. Or you can buy Zcash or Pivx.
It's safe if there's escrow, I guess the reason why OP wants to buy it anonymously because he probably doesn't want to go through KYC. One problem with buying cryptocurrencies anonymously is that you might have to spend a lot on fees. Here my suggest if you want to get more way : virwox

Imo F2F trade is probably still the best you can get as it has the least trace although I find it risky for huge amounts. In any case, mixing coins would be a nice finishing touch after the trade.
