I don`t think that this is about gambling. And if we are talking about the cryptocurrencies exchanges - i don`t see any problem to buy/change cryptocurrencies with the existing exchanges.
PS. The site looks very easy. It can be a good for newbies but the same time it seems that it hasn`t enough instruments for experienced users. I`d prefer to use exchange with KYC but with more opportunities.
It is also related to gambling because some people prefer privacy while gambling.

If you need a no KYC exchange, you can use hodlhodl or bisq. Localcryptos is good too, but they are ending their service. There are some centralized exchanges that have no KYC needed for certain deposit and withdrawal, example is OKX and some others. You can check this link for some privacy way to purchase cryptocurrencies: https://kycnot.me/

But if you do not care about privacy, you have no problem using those with KYC too. Some people only has low amount of money to gamble with, those kind of people do not care about privacy while gambling. That is gambling, it should be done with low amount too.
It isn`t so. We can talk about KYC in casinos, but here we are talking just about cryptocurrency exchange. The same way we can talk about any cryptocurrency exchange. For example i can create the thread about Binance and promote it as the safe cryptocurrency exchange for everybody, who don`t care about KYC. It is about exchange but not about gambling.
The same time i can`t say anything bad about this exchange.
PS. the moderators agree with me as i see.

The limit is quite high for a no-kyc buying option that involves fiat (about 20K USD) which I actually find too good to be true. This is probably only possible because they're not that popular yet. With better alternatives existing, I don't think I'd be using them anytime soon.

I am not well familiar with Oobit nor have I heard about that. As far as I know, buying crypto with fiat is quite hard without KYC. P2P is different if it's Decentralized at all. Otherwise, the most exchange needs KYC to buy crypto with cards. Because all the exchanges use a third party to integrate buying crypto with fiat. Even they may ask to provide KYC. So I won't jump on any site unless it's well-reputed and proven.

I took a quick look at the service to see how it works (didn't make a deposit) and it seems really easy to use.
However, I couldn't figure out how much they deduct in fees.
I tried to exchange 100 units (my local currency) and it says I'll get the equivalent 84 units in btc, that's 16% in fees. But for 1000 units it says I'd get 950 meaning 5% will be deducted.
BTW, 16 units (local currency) is almost $5.
So, my guess is that the fee is 5% and the minimum is $5.

Also, I was expecting the email address will be only used to get payment notifications, but I've received multiple emails from the service that have nothing to do with the payment (price alerts)! Isn't this spamming?

This crypto purchase as a guest is new
I wouldn't use that feature. If you're going to ask some information like email address and you'll be sending the payment details there, you're likely going to have base and saved data on your record from your customers, although this is popular in most companies. You save their logs and details.

But, this feature for buyers as guests can be done even without providing an email. Like you'll immediate appear the payment details for that unique visitor that would like to purchase from you and give further instructions to complete the order.

Yes that can be related to gambling because maybe they already support a lot of gambling sites just like what moonpay did. In some gambling sites, there is moonpay service on them where you can buy a crypto if you don't have any but I am not sure if moonpay requires you to sign up and needs a KYC.

If yes then this one here is better. It's less hassle and values the privacy of the users. We can use a normal exchange but that will be a hassle as well because you will need to use your crypto wallet for this. I mean it's not really a direct buy and you will also need to pay more for the fees. But indeed, gambling must be done in low amounts because it is risky.

What's keeping them, they have a token and their token is already in the market, their domain is aged, what I mean aged is a decade old and the search engine respect decade age domain, and they are clean and have not found any complaints, maybe not yet, something is wrong the way they market it, what's with asking

of course, lack of awareness will make us question this exchange, it's not a competitive exchange because of a lack of marketing, if they are not doing what they should be doing, they will be shut out from the competition.
My advice, do something for the long term, not like this.

The domain is about to expire?  That's a red flag.
So many options to buy BTC anonymously but choosing this method is a lot risky. The currency exchange subforum is a lot safer as long as you make contact with a reputable user.

I don't know how the site works but if you as a buyer send your USD first, you'd be at a disadvantage. You may not receive the coins you bought.
We've got the sub forum where we're allowed to exchange currency with ease. Based on the reputation and the regular exchange involvement some does the transaction even without the use of escrow. Using an escrow is highly recommended. The listing on the coinmarketcap makes it popular, but it looks like they're not much focused in development and marketing.

Are you the owner of the site? asking because it seems to me you are,
I personally have never heard of this site before, there are several ways to buy crypto and then transfer to the casino, why would i choose a service that may charge half of what i bought as a transaction fee?
if it was about converting my local currency to crypto, we have Remitano P2P, Remitano Pay, Binance P2P does the job so well too .

If this is not your site, then you try it out and tell us your experience, if your experience is good enough, then maybe some users here would decide to try them too.
A. I'm not the site owner B. you pay transaction fee everywhere C. I did used it to buy $100 and paid $5 fee is that too much?

That is too much considering that you can buy the same amount of coins with only a little fee on some other exchanges. Other centralized services are already established, and won't need to do anything to prove their legitimacy. As some other people have already pointed out, perhaps the site isn't really doing too well to begin with hence why people aren't interested on it one bit. If Oobit offers something else that no other exchanges have done before then perhaps we can try it, but at this point, what separates it from the rest in the industry anyway to make us use it?

Honestly, I am not aware of this exchange I don't know the others because they do not have an official announcement here and OP create a campaign for this project

OOBIT CAMPAIGN - EARN $500 IN Bitcoin! but I beleive it did not take off based on his campaign thread.

So would use this service?
Obviously no one will try use the service you are offering/casino. There are a high chance that you are somehow connected from oobit.com given that you are doing a campaign for it and promoting it in this thread. Doing a proper ANN thread would be more effective since you can post most of the information there about oobit.com and hopefully get a traffic like what you have here. I believe that no one here would use an unknown platform especially if it involves depositing or buying.

Hey,

Did anyone buy crypto in Oobit?

There is fast flow as a guest same as in Farfetch? you don't need to fill your details except from email and the fee is also very low

If you used it or going to use it I would love to hear your opinion  Link to the fast purchase

I think you are part of the team or hired to market it, the fact that you create a campaign for this exchange, but I wonder why it's not getting the attention and has not yet established its standing here in Bitcointalk, the fact that it's already in the market and their token is doing great, this is a case where even the best project cannot take off because of lack of marketing, if this is legit then the admin should start marketing it, launching a signature campaign is the first step and a big step.

The domain is about to expire?  That's a red flag.

If the owner of the domain has a balance on his account or the payment is linked to his card and he triggers an automatic payment it will complete payment the day it expires, but he can renew it right away if the owner opted to renew it right away.

The domain is already existing since 2005, 4 years before Bitcoin was launched, it may have changed hands, and it's not a Crypto project before and it may look different, we never know but the lack of marketing is questionable and we have doubt if this is legit or not, I prefer to go on a more stable and established exchange.

But first, what is your position on this project why there's no official announcement here in Bitcointalk, and why did you not provide this information in the first place, I have to research the project so I can verify if the site is legit or not, checking the telegram channel they have a lot of members but the members of the group did not reflect the popularity of this project if you have contact with the admin you should recommend to start marketing this project, and you can start by creating official announcement here.

Gamble responsibly
That may be helpful but not for me because I use part of the money I earn from this forum to gamble, the payment is like anonymous and sending to a non KYC casino is not a big thing for me.

Second is that I do not mind to gamble on KYC or non KYC casinos, what matters more to me is the services they are rendering.

I do not know about that site, I noticed it has been registered for a long time since 2005, but still I have not heard about the site before and I have not used it before. I will prefer to use a known decentralized exchange like Bisq for it, but I mostly send the coins I already have on a wallet which is the usual way for me.
