Hello, I am trying to find if there is anyway to use a tool like afterpay to buy into crypto.

I was thinking of using google pay to purchase a visa gift card but i am not sure if visa gift cards can be used to buy crypto online.

Any advice?

Where are you from? I mean your country? PayPal service is available worldwide and they support crypto payment and purchases too, what are you trying to avoid? Using bank account to purchase crypto? Because you can easily send money from your bank account to someone else through peer to peer payment solution without your bank knowing what you use the money for.

Just don't include any crypto related words in the description.

Afterpay is a "buy now, pay later" service. It gives you a prepaid card, and you can start buying things with it, and pay later. Therefore, if you want to buy crypto with Afterpay, you just need to find an exchange that accepts these prepaid cards.

Gift cards are another story. I highly doubt that it is possible to buy crypto with gift card for a reasonable price.

The idea of buy now and pay later is a bad one for risky assets, I don't know what afterpay service really is but if this is what's all about then it is a bad one for buying Bitcoin, in this space timing is everything, to acquire Bitcoin easily it is best to use your weekly payment from jobs or salaries, the money is earned already and it is still a risk investing on risk asset, but using debt like solution isn't a good idea.

I wonder if there is any special reasons you want to purchase crypto-currency through this ways. I have never liked the Afterpay idea and I don't see it being useful in the next four year.
I believe it can be as simple as not having the capital to buy Bitcoin early while being hopeful that you can sell them quickly for quick profits to repay your loan. That is risky as hell though, so nobody should do that. I only use loans as a last resort to buy stuff I can use to make money reliably. Sadly it seems like most people took a loan just because they lack the patience to save money.

This are not frequently used ways of buying crypto. I wonder if there is any special reasons you want to purchase crypto-currency through this ways. I have never liked the Afterpay idea and I don't see it being useful in the next four year.

If you can then purchase crypto-currency via exchanges, I am not saying this is the safest but from my experience I haven't had issues using this method.

I think OP you're combining two things here altogether, if you want to make use of an after pay service, that alone is a different service in which you may have to consult having such from exchanges that permits for that, the second aspect you're combining together is in buying with gift cards, quite alright gift card can be used to buy bitcoin, but you may have to see or consult some trusted escrow service providers or exchanges for that, meanwhile you may not like the rate they may value those cards when trying to convert for sale.

The only directive I can give to this kind of transaction is on the local p2p exchange firms where individual traders who buys and sells cryptocurrencies might also be interested to buy gift cards. Then the value of your gift card would be evaluated to sum the value of cryptocurrency of your choice which it can afford.
Aside that, I'm unsure of any exchange platforms guaranteed of accepting gift cards for payments means of buying crypto currency although I learnt about Paxful exchange site accepting such offers but haven't tried it to be sure.

Buying crypto with Afterpay or similar services isn't easy, as Afterpay doesn't directly support it. However, some crypto exchanges partner with services like Klarna or Zip, but it depends on where you are

You can try using Visa gift cards to buy crypto on platforms like Coinbase (US users), Binance, and Kraken (depending on the country). Just be aware of potential issues like gift card restrictions, and others
You can also try using Google Pay, Apple Pay, or credit/debit cards. Just watch out for higher fees

Before you make any purchases, double-check that the exchange accepts Visa gift cards

Not conversant with this and thinking how it can work effectively. Just looking like something that will require some collaterals to be effective. Maybe, this will work in a country that has fully legitimise bitcoin, such that the financial institutions know your income strength and what can offer you via the afterpay scheme.

If it's something that works and you buy BTC at $61k and before you pay, BTC jumps to $75k, it will be great. However, the reverse will be so damaging.

I never used Afterpay so I don't know how it works exactly, but you can try with Noones.com gift cards.
They are offering service of selling and purchasing gift cards using crypto, or you could find some other way to buy bitcoin with fiat.
Whatever you choose just be careful for scammers.

I cannot verify if this is directly possible. I know it wasn't some years ago but after Jack Dorsey acquired Afterpay there were talks that it will be integrated. If it's not possible, you can deposit to a 3rd party website and buy from there.

Is there a particular reasons you want to buy crypto with loans? Investments come with risks and the pressure of needing to realize profits at a certain time means you may be forced to sell at a loss at a time or not be able to wait for your desired profit margin.
