1xBIT has already done that, both on this forum and on the TrustPilot platform. They were paying members for fake reviews on bitcointalk as part of their "honest" review campaign, as for Trustpilot, they admitted inciting users to write reviews.

We offer our players a gift, and ask them to leave a reply on TrustPilot - it is not necessary to receive the gift, but most of the people leave small replies.

That was not unexpected from 1xBit. But, Recently, I saw a guy named Richard, and his alts richardo3 has posted some screenshots of DD Buying Reviews for $5 each. They posted on DD ANN and recently I just figured out that the guy removed all the posts from their ANN. So, I was a bit curious why he alleged them and now why he removed all his posts including that screenshots? So I asked them on their ANN And bobstone explained, They paid him some loss back and the guy removed all his posts from the ANN. So, My question is, If you guys know you are legit. Why did you pay someone to remove his posts? I guess there is something wrong but as bobstone said, There are a lot of people doing this to blackmail DuckDice. Does it make sense?

That's how some companies manipulate trust scores and ratings on a few platforms like Trust Pilot. Suppose, A casino like 1xBit scamming people every day. Everyone doesn't rate them on Trust Pilot or so. If 1xBit starts buying fake reviews.

They are targetting Google map to establish its reputation there, I agree that online reviews are very suspicious, the only reviews I'm reading are coming from independent reviewers who are not paid by the site they are reviewing but their loyalty are to their subscribers who are all looking for products and services reviews, we have this kind of reviews on Youtube and they are reviewing products they themselves bought and unpack.

It can be very dangerous to install an unknown app or be interested in using any platform after seeing the reviews in the present. Because there are a lot of fake review providers online who sell fake reviews for money which is why bad platforms are also getting good reviews. So now it is becoming difficult to confirm which is real user review and which is fake review.
It will be difficult for newcomers to make the right decision in this situation, as this situation is enough to create confusion.

If the app is I think came from google playstore well they maybe that is fine. But if the one who ask you to do it is just sending you a link out of nowhere then provably we can say that this is totally dangerous to do since provably this is how those scammers exploit there victims.

Anyways back to the OP's discussion well good that this kind of activity made by them has been notice since its really dangerous for a person who didn't know those fake feedbacks place at them and might they became a victim if a scam will be executed by those scammers.

Everyone doesn't rate them on Trust Pilot or so. If 1xBit starts buying fake reviews. They will becomes the most trusted casino (LOL). This is the sad reality. If a newbie searches on the internet about the rating of a specific platform and sees a good rating. But, after that, they get scammed by the platform. That's what happening today. So, people don't earn by selling fake reviews. They do scam others by selling fake reviews.
We should be aware of them. This thread should be deleted by the moderator.

There is no doubt that buying fake reviews is immoral and highly unethical, and I pity every business that pays people to give fake reviews, since they could really benefit from a genuine positive user-generated content environment. Nonetheless, I am not sure it belongs in the scam accusations section since (apparently) no one has actually been harmed by the practice. As COOLCRYPTOVATOR said, this is better fitted in the reputation board.

Not sure if this is a scam accusation exactly. Likely more fit into the reputation board than scam accusation. For the fake reviews, it's become hard to believe in online reviews. Those are selling fake reviews and buy that both are a cheater.  But really hard to prevent them. I had tagged previously for selling fake reviews. But it's not worth it, still, they have been running their fake review services.

Unfortunately, these paid fake reviews or any false praise of service are common today. Probably 90% of all reviews are paid or stimulated by interest.
Just check the bounty section of this forum, there are probably 9 of 10 bad projects that won’t do anything serious (except take money from investors) All of them offer some compensation in the form of tokens to people who will spread some positive words about their business.
This is how marketing goes today, there is very little we can do by revealing someone who publicly admits it.
