probably "worldcoins", some altcoin. I'm looking to buy Ipod touches which are either defective in some way or have damaged/cracked screens.You may ask why? I'm going to be replacing the screens or the necessary parts and use them for a project which I'm going to be developing.
I would like for you guys to post you're ipod touches with details of it's faults and pictures of the device. I will be offering what I think it's worth.

he is probably using these for fraudulent returns at walmart and such. id also be happy to purchase any defective ipods/electronics that show no signs of damage
Considering I'm from the United Kingdom and don't have access to wal-mart.
It was simply to improve my skills which I can later use in my repair job, where I fix old/defective electronics. The project was being my business. Asda is the equivilant to wal-mart over here. For returning such items I believe you require to have a receipt & packaged. They will also not accept bad scratched devices. Therefore old ipods will have scratches on the back, which are very hard to get rid of.

If you just need a screen + embeded platform, you're better off buying a cheap android tablet. For example, the Nook HD+ (9" 1920*1280, 1.5 Ghz dual core) is on sale this weekend for $150
