Why not a MSI FM2+, AMD A88X for the motherboard? its cheaper and still has room to expand!

Newegg is giving a free BF4 game with the board you mention so you can sell that and save even more, however it only holds 5 gpu, the 990fxa goes up to 7 which is why I bought them.

I built a 1440 khash/s rig for 1000 USD

3 x Gigabyte R9 270
Gigbyte ga-990fxa-ud3
Corsair RM750
Cheap 4 gb memory
Sempron 145
$10 USB Stick
3 x powered risers

I've since added more cards to it, there is room for 7 total.

Hey Guys

Im new here and I am looking to build a good profitable rig, I have around 1000 GBP to spend.

I am about to trawl through this forum now, but before I do, is it even possible to build a profitable rig for 1k?

Electricity isn't going to be a problem, I just don't know where to start. I used to build PCS when I was a 19 (Im 33 now) so Im not a stranger to that side, I have been mining dogecoin on my iMac but haven't been making much, it has just helped me learn how to setup miners, even though Im still not totally up to speed with that (I do have a little coding knowledge)

So can anyone help, advise, or even sell me any components?

Thanks
