Is this still available? Just curious due to the recent volatile market fluctuations. I'm sure there are interested parties who are just as curious!

BTW, I featured your listing on BTCNN: http://www.btcnn.com/2011/06/buy-beach-house-in-tokyo-with-bitcoin.html

You know there are some bitcoin ballers out there with over 100,000 bitcoins that would probably chomp on this offer.

Is it really worth it?

At current rates it could even be a big mistake for the buyer if the price climbs to $30-$50 per BTC soon when difficulty rises.

Even if you have a lot it could turn out in you losing out hundreds of thousands in a short timeframe.

Given the run up in BTC/USD the price is now reduced to 2300 BTC.

That's pretty cool!

You should put this on OTC so you don't need to adjust the price manually each time the BTC price increases.
(I sent you details by E-mail).

Very interesting.

3500 BTCs don't sounds too much。

Hope one day the value of BTC increase so that we can get a house for 35 BTCs.

By car it is about 320km (see route on Google Maps) from the reactor. Radiation levels here are complete back to background levels and therefore lower than London or Hong Kong. This beach was completely untouched by the tsunami as it is facing Southeast. I am here now as I have an identical apartment in the same building, which I use in the weekends to escape Tokyo with my family.

I am selling a beachcondo on the Pacific coast close to Tokyo for bitcoins: http://akasakarealestate.com/bitcoin/forsale.htm. The current price is BTC 3,500, but with the current price volatility I might have to adjust the price regularly. Let's see how long it will take before the first real estate transaction is done in Bitcoins. There is no restriction against foreigners buying property in Japan, but it will be interesting to see the face of the bureaucrats when they see the transaction currency. I run a real estate company in Tokyo (www.akasakarealestate.com) and am officially licensed.
