Hi everyone!!

I hope you are doing good... I'm preparing to invest in crypto one more time, hoping I have better results than the last time.

We are seeing a big dip and I consider it's a great time to buy... I'm gonna invest $30,000 usd which is the biggest part of my savings so I expect not to fail...

I'm doing a long term investment (2 years) at least until the next bitcoin Halving.

1) My first question is about Solana... as it seems to be the most affected. Do you think it's a wise investment, or you consider it too risky?
2) Do you believe Solana could recover it's price and reach again $200 usd?

3) If it's not Solana, which other currencies you consider a potential investment?

4) What do you think about Bitcoin and Ethereum? I believe those are the safest investments, but I'm also looking for something with more space to grow...

5) Do you know or can recommend another currencies other than Solana, Bitcoin or Ethereum?

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards;
Christian Russo

In my experience, both Ethereum and Bitcoin is best for investment at this bear market. Not Solana is too risk for invest in this altcoin because after FTX crash next target will be Solana. Then its price will be go to the zero. So I recommend you to invest in Ethereum and Bitcoin at dip. Invest at your own research
Altcoins has the biggest rate of increase during bullish market because their value are most of the time low. But that does not guarantee profit. Given the number of altcoins in this industry, only a few has the chance to go along with thr upward movement and it is hard to tel which is which. Safe coins to invest are still Ethereum and Bitcoin but if you are a small time investor and you are only 'scalping' on exchangers, then don't expect for huge return. Usually, big investors are the ones which are getting huge profit everytime the market price of Bitcoin and Ethereum or cryptos in general, are increasing because they have invested huge amount as well. But if people are willing to take the risk for altcoin investment, then go for the popular ones in this industry to get lower odds.

It's too early right now to buy bitcoin and ethereum, at least for me. After the FTX news, the market is seriously worn out and I think these news will continue. In other words, serious bad news will come to the market. In short, bitcoin and ethereum will experience more serious declines in my opinion. As for Solana. I think even worse news will come for the solana and she will be severely worn out. I do not recommend any investment other than bitcoin and ethereum in the near future.

I am currently very careful and I have withdrawn my money from several exchanges, only focusing on the Binance exchange.

and for now I recommend not buying or trading in large quantities especially solana
the price is not clear where to go, I'm waiting for everything to be stable for the sake of convenience

Do not buy solana, I repeat, do not buy solana.

It's pretty hard to tell if Alameda and co have dumped their solana bag yet and it's possible that this project will go to zero.

It's like you aren't listening to what's currently going on? Other exchanges are halting withdrawal, Gate.io and Crypto dot com have been exposed too.

It seems no single centralised exchange is clean.

In my opinion try to stay away from Solana project as much as possible because the story of last FTX is because of this the effect is up in the market. Safest to invest in my opinion because you can trust that Bitcoin and ETH will never be destroyed as long as Crypto is around.

Yes, of course, and soon. I think the price could reach $200 USD by the end of this year. Solana is a unique project and the huge supply definitely doesn't scare investors SOL is a fundamentally strong crypto with a big market cap and one that Binance really supports. This isn't the first time we've seen crypto prices go down, and they'll all be back up again soon.
I think it is not a good idea to compare Solana with ethereum and even less so bitcoin. Solana already has a bad fate after SBF bankruptcy. The project is not that good either, especially when it is joked that Solana has blockchain weekends for network maintenance. Buying this dip you have high risks of ending up without funds, unlike buying eth or btc.

Have you been watching lots of bad story about FTX? if you don't know this and FTX was one of heavy investors for solana. that means if FTX's case may give bad impact to the solana for long term. Picking solana at this moment must become the worst choice that has ever been taken by a smart investor

2) Do you believe Solana could recover it's price and reach again $200 usd?
it will never happen. I meant FTX's case has been destroying solana. Thinking new ATH for solana pretty much the same like you didn't know what happened with it. it has also a horrible blockchain.

3) If it's not Solana, which other currencies you consider a potential investment?
It must be layer 1 or 2 coins in the market. that must become the best choice that can be taken for now. Decentralized future trading platform might become the best one to invest

4) What do you think about Bitcoin and Ethereum? I believe those are the safest investments, but I'm also looking for something with more space to grow...
Bitcoin and ethereum are always the best investment all the time in crypto.

5) Do you know or can recommend another currencies other than Solana, Bitcoin or Ethereum?
I can only recommend you something like GMX or MVX since people lost trust to the centralized exchange site

Choosing bitcoin and ethereum are the best option to make. You can do 10k-10k for each of them and then allocate the remaining 10k to sol if you want to.
But for me, the wisest thing to do is to buy $20k of it for bitcoin and then the remaining to put it simply in Ethereum. You'll be encouraged to buy other altcoins because they'll say that it could grow there. But on this market, rely on what have been moved up and trusted by the community.

Bitcoin & Ethereum are best currencies to hold with patience and wait for the return of Bull market to book huge profit. I think it is not good idea to sell Top currencies like Bitcoin/Ethereum and buy SOLANA which is already in deep trouble after FTX massive crash & market analysts are speculating its dump in coming days as there is significant reduction in the amount of staked Solana. DYOR.

Would complete remove solana from the list just because of it's frequent outages.

Well, for now, I would stay away from Solana as well. Nobody can say what will happen with the FTX exchange in the upcoming weeks, the news makes me think that nothing good can happen with FTX and all FTX projects. But again, if Binance changes its decision and decides to buy FTX or just help them, the situation can change course.

So buying Solana now is a huge risk, but where is a huge risk there are huge possible gains. I guess some people are ready for big risks, but I am not sure if they are ready for the consequences if things go the wrong way.

I don't think SOL can ever go back to $200 again even in the bull market in 2025. We are just tricked to believe the protocol is a life changer. The truth is it's not. You'd best just to buy BTC, you'd be lucky to still get 1 BTC because, by the next 5 years, it may be impossible to buy 1BTC for $30.000.

If you believe BTC will dip below 15.000, wait for it. If not then just buy all your 30.000 for BTC.

It should be like,

(a) Majority of your portfolio should be in BTC, no doubt
(b) Next will be in ETH

I'm not sure about SOL though it has gone so many stages of hack and their backer has no funds because they invested majority of it in FTX which has been, RIP.

So for me, I will stir away away from SOL for now, it's unstable, just saying.

I'm going to take all that and split the assets I have to own them on a long-term basis. If we can see them in depth, we should no longer be afraid because we already understand the potential of solana, ethereum and bitcoin. We are just waiting when the Bitcoin Halving to take profit.

With history of several downtimes and technical problems, Solana is not good in my opinion both technically and financially.
With its very high growth in past bull run in 2020, it is not smart to invest in Solana now when the bear market is still active.
With recent bankruptcy from FTX exchange which is one of backers of Solana, it is stupid to buy Solana now.

Especially we don't know what will happen next with FTX and related projects. It is time to not touch Solana and FTT. Maybe you will miss a good bounce but profit can be gotten in other ways, other opportunities. With FTT and Solana now, risk is far higher than potential profit.
