25% Profit seems a "little" high, don't you think?

And 25% for a good cause seems good, but the overall player ends up with a expected return of 50%, most games at casinos have over >97%.

If you wan't this to work, you should probably lower your profit.

Thanks for the tip Smiley Updating it now.

Still open, since nobody's entered. Any feedback on this?

Hey guys, here's the deal.

I'm hosting a Bitcoin 90/10 raffle.

I know it probably sounds a little sketchy, since I'm going to do it manually, but if you're interested, here's what's going down.

Tickets
Each 0.001 BTC given counts as 1 "raffle ticket". I'll assign numbers to it, and post the sent-from address as well as the assigned numbers down below. I'm going to limit the maximum amount of tickets any one address can have to 500, to prevent throwing the auction too far off.

Distributed Tickets

==Reserved Section For Assigned Numbers==

Closing Date

On October 20th, I will get a number from random.org, and this will be the winning ticket number.

Winning

The winning number will have all winnings sent back to the address it was sent from. If you need a different return address, you must PM me with the address it was sent from, the tx id(s) and the address you want your winnings sent to. For my sake, please use a subject similar to "50/50 Raffle".

My 'Cut'

You might wonder what's going to happen with the other ten percent of the raffle money. Well half of that I'm going to keep, the other half I'll donate to Bitcoin 100. Smiley I'm not a heartless bastard ^_^

Transparency

You might be wondering how I'll keep it fair. First of all, I'm not allowed to enter. To prove that I won't, here's a screenshot of all my addresses in my wallet.

Sure I could create a new one, but what would be the point in that? Also, I will post a screenshot of the Random.org drawing and the winning txid.

Entry

All you have to do is send the desired amount of Bitcoins (the maximum number of tickets you can have is 500, aka BTC0.5, but you can send more, you just won't have any more entries than that) to the following address:

Good luck, and have fun!
